Me and a friend are interested in subscribing but she says she doesnt like the idea of paying rent every single day. Do just the directors pay rent or is it shared equally between directors and other detectives in the firm?

It just depends on the agency you join. It's an important question to ask before you actually join an agency.

We want to start one. Do we get to charge people a % of the rent if they join?

You can charge them. It may make recruiting difficult since there are so many agencies recruiting right now that do not charge thier detectives mandatory rent.
