I am shamelessly going to post this, so I then shamelessly can link to it from the moderators picks.

Hoping that we get more people subbing. For the simple reason, this game exists because people subscribe.

(Disclaimer: Mods, or even anyone else...make money of this game. It is volunteer run. Subscription money is used to pay for hardware and software to run this game.)

Good observation Mental. I am unsubbed now on jstkdn, but I obviously didn't get the amount of experience by 3 cases a day. :) I am still subbed under my other detective.

5,50 dollars is a low price, considering you are purchasing quite a different game from when you are playing alone 3 cases a day. It gives you the ability to operate in an agency, and the extra cases.

I couldn't help it, I had to subscribe.
I would solve my 3 cases but then just want more.
Especially when I'm working on my skills. It would be like: I just need one more case and I would have to wait until tomorrow.

My checks in the mail as we speak.

Ok, now I'm wondering. Does subscribing means the puzzles will be more different? What I mean is that there's now always someone trying to steal a family heirloom, and someone crazy with no morality etcetera.. After playing only 7 cases, this is getting kinda standard already.

Does subscription give me access to more interesting storylines, or just to a lot more of the same?

The story lines are the same, but it does give you access to the Feature Mysteries, which require you to use your noggin to gather clues. :)

I JUST subscribed!!! WOOHOO!!! My hubby even encouraged me, as he knows I truly enjoy it and don't have many hobbies. It's only for a month, as I wanted to walk before I run, LOL, but I have a sneaking feeling it'll be extended before too long. :)

For me, I first subscribed for only a month, then kept buying another month. finally I got smart and went ahead and bought 6 months worth. Now I am actually going to go ahead and re-subscribe for another 6 months.

I resubscribed for a whole year this time :-D It's definitely worth it (and much, much better value than Shockwave too!). Even if you're not involved in an agency, having more than three games a day means that your detective's and your own skills develop so much faster. It also gives you the incentive to try harder level cases than you might if you only had three and didn't want to risk having to quit one.

I resubbed as well More for the financial financial support to the game.

It also kept bugging me that I did not finish the game, I got all skills, but great with a faction at least once, reached number 1 status at one point. But one thing I did not do.....is get the contacts in London. It has bugging me since march, when I stopped playing. So I decided to get it over and done with. Great bonus is that I can play the FMs in the different city, as an unsubbed member I was stuck in Shanghai.

Then, I will offer my help agencies to those that need help setting an agency up. Either for the contacts, the skills, newbie advise, treasure hunt tactics, financial or otherwise.

I figured the best way to become a coach, or the ...is by getting everything. :)

Or......the sleuth loan shark. :) :) :) Between freelancermountaineer and jstkdn, I am sitting on lots of dough.

I would susbsribe but I dont have all that money. After all I am only runnning on an allowance... Until I can get a job next year.
But what I would like to know is:
As Sleuth continues and increases it's budget will non-subscribed members get the chance to join detective agencies?
