i attempted to play one, but got confused because of the type of evidence found (like jars) and the kinds of locations that didnt seem to be on the map, so i quit the case before i got lost...

could someone help explain this or clarify it to me?

I second that. What I find the most special about the featured mysteries (FMs called by the vets), is that several people out of this community put in a lot of work to write them.

For what it's worth, I use the research skill in my FMs. I'm Michael Bagen, by the way. If you want to beat mine, you need research.

Forgive me if I made it sound as though research was useless in the Features. I only meant that it is not used in the same way, elimnating a suspect. Thank you for helping to clarify.
