Some of us have interesting reasons to pick a detective name. What is yours?

jstkdn which some people don't realize right away stands for JuST KiDding! It is something I tend to say a lot in real life after a lot of sentences. A good friend of mine in the US had jstkdn as a license plate of her car, so I wasn't that inventive myself.

My previous other agent was PM, which stands for Project/Program Manager, my profession in real life.

My only detective that I currently play with is freelancermountaineer. Only because Freelancer was taken. Sidney Bristow in the Alias series uses two call signs freelancer and mountaineer.

I used to sing professionally, and the piano player who accompanied me always refered to me as "Sindy - with an "S"". My real name is Cindy. Okay, actually, it's Cynthia, but I have always gone by Cindy.

My real name is Shannon.I have two boys and my older one likes to make me yell at him(it takes a lot for me to,but then I just scream at him for a moment)so hence the name shannonbanshee came around. He thinks it is funny. It is almost a game for him to try to get me angry. He is now almost nineteen. It is amazing that he is the only one that can do that to me.I always tell people you better really like the name you pick for your kids because you say it a million times to them.

Carly Corinthos is my favorite character on the soap opera, General Hospital. A couple of years ago, they had a time traveling episode that was based on the 1920's, finding Sleuth having to do with the 1920's , I decided to choose the name Carly Corinthos. Now, if only I can change my avatar to Carly Corinthos in her 1920's wear.

As an extraterrestrial, I spent quite a few months first infiltrating your solar system, which by the way has far fewer defense systems than any other I have encountered, but anyhoo, then I infiltrated your actual planet, which was shockingly easy.

I chose the name AL Z after the computer simulations informed me that you humans would find it non-threatening. Thus, my infiltration of your obsessive-can't-stop-finding-the-criminal-lifestyle has been complete, as per my assignment from the Overlord.

I hope this answers your question, Earthling.

hehe I like that Carly...
hey I've never posted to this. And it seems kinda obvious but well Secret_Squirrel is my real name... op no wait... It just seems like it these days ;) No my name is based on a cartoon character, Secret Squirrel (Agent 000) a kind of James bond crime fighting rodent parody, and was on the same cartoon show as Atom Ant. You can catch him on Boomerang occasionally.
My other Sleuth is Paranoid_Android which is basically from Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Marvin the paranoid android, but also coz I'm a Radiohead fan, and their track of the same name from OK Computer, so that's how that tied in.

Oh . . . I LOVED Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy! It reminded me of the Monty Python movies - just a different setting.

Mine is actually based on a 70s Brazilian soccerplayer except Z instead of S, but i quickly found that it was well suited for Sleuth
