Well when you do a favor to someone. That person is usualy there for you. Ex: my friend nead help with someting if i help him he will tell me every thing about that thing i nead to do.

So i think it would be a greate idea when we do a favor to someone that he/she should help us 100% and work exactly like a contact. Sinse well we are doing a favor for that person. Common sense would be to never rule bending or other things. He nead our help so he nead to help...

I think it would be a goood idea.

but maybe that person is busy with they're job and are stressed out so they couldn't answer the question, even if they wanted to

I agree with you Fujoubou. If they're able to ask us to do this favor, then they should be able to answer about their abili. It doesn't make sense to award us with a nice gift for solving the case for them, if they're going to clam up on us when we turn around and ask them one question concerning their alibi. It seems to me that their alibi should always be REAL. However, I'm only one voice,& I'm not the boss. Whatever, it's COOL!

Hey james, I tried to send you a personal message, but got a strange error message. I just wanted to say: "CONGRADULATIONS" on joining the big times "CHICAGO AGENCY" wow I am so proud for you. Now you're wineing and dineing with the BIG WIGS, & Sleuthing style, with a smile. Hopefully, I'll join one soon, or rent my own. I miss our chit chats. You probably don't have time for the poor struggling detective like me now...ha! No really, I'm proud for you. Take care.

Oops! sorry about the improper grammar wineing and dineing ...good grief, I need spelling lessons. Hope Kitten doesn't see this message, ha! Anyway, what I should have typed was now you can wine and dine in style with a smile. Does that make more sense james?

I did, in fact, spot that message, especially since my name was mentioned. My eyes, my eyes! I am traumatised for life ;)

My good detective, Fujoubou.

I can understand that from the detective's point of view, we all want to have better leads, trustworthy contacts, and so on.

But aren't you forgetting that on successfully completing the favour, we get either ONE of two things?

- a special piece of equipment
- a referred contact

Perhaps, if you're really interested in pursuing this, detectives can choose what they want, for eg.:

*Congratulations! You have successfully completed the favour! As a reward, you may choose one of the following from the (Contact's Name):

a. A special piece of equipment / Random contact
b. Add the (Contact's Name) as a contact

*contact, contact, contact* Sorry for being so repetitive, but did what I just said make sense to you?

fu knows all about contacts, but in the favor cases, there are many times that you need info from that person you're doing a favor for, and they clam up. it does get rather annoying, since you're doing something for them, and it was thier friend that was killed. you would think that they would want the murderer found, since they hired you to find out who done it.

Ahh... Elsey, you have a knack for explaining things to dense players such as I..

Thanks for the clarification. So for the specific favour cases, the person you're doing the favour for should not clam up.. Wise suggestion.

Sorry fujoubou, for not getting it the first time.
