No Physical Evidence for Fake Alibis

I've had a few cases where there is a fair amount of PE but one or two suspects with fake alibis.will not have anything in the 'list' below their name i.e. nothing to match with.

It hasn't been a problem so far. My guilty suspect has always had a match with PE and/or WE. But is this normal?

I have all the analysis skills (footprint, handwriting, thread, hair) and always have evidence showing up.

Can I take it that if a fake alibi suspect doesn't have any PE to match against, then they can't ever be guilty - and I shouldn't waste questions trying to get WE against them?

Yes, you can eliminate those with no matching PE. You may have found heavy foot print and that person is slim so there was no match.

Thank you, Sophie. It makes sense. I just didn't expect the game to give me a 'gift' like that!

I get those gifts all the time. They'll screw you in another way though.
