With the firm application of bolt cutters the rusty padlock on the gates of the Boardwalk has been prised off. For a small fee at the ticket booth Detectives can take some down time to wander around the Boardwalk.

Whilst familiarising yourselves with the layout is a great idea, the real meat of the Boardwalk is the Carousel Furore; the times for these are listed on the case tab. The main way to get tickets is by solving cases at Really Really Hard or above in difficulty (the higher the difficulty, the better your chances). Your best chances of getting a ticket are an hour before a Furore is due to start, but if the tickets are gone they're gone.

Finally there is a second type of ticket; a back-up ticket. They will not be hard to find.

Happy sleuthing, and as ever please let me know when the bugs crop up and I'll deal with them ASAP.

For some reason this reminds me of 3:10 to Yuma for anyone who's familiar with western classic.

It's pretty safe to say this must be some kind of Secret #3 hint.

Is there some mechanic that makes it less likely to get tickets if I've played a lot of furore games recently? Usually it only takes me 1-3 AI cases to get a ticket, if I solve cases an hour before the next furore. But today I played 12 games (9 AI and 3 incredibly hard) all in the hour before a furore, and not a ticket was to be seen.

Just curious if I have incredibly bad luck or if there was something else at play!

When I was in the Furore this morning I had a couple of "glitches" pop up:

1. When playing pinball, when I clicked on "Pull Lever" instead of getting the results of my play I would just get taken back to the "pay $50 screen." I had this happen 3 or 4 times.

2. When on the roller coaster I was waiting at the countdown screen and when the countdown reached 0 I got booted back to the 1st page and when I tried to get on roller the countdown had started over and I couldn't get on. Had to wait another 200+ seconds.

Unrelated, but apparently I left a tab open on my home computer that was at the fountain chat, so it showed I was there even though I'd gone to work and wasn't checking it at all. I came back to see a bunch of people had talked to me there, and it looked like I was rudely ignoring all of you. My apologies!

The dangers of tabbing, etc.

Sindy I had the pinball happen to me. As well as pulling the lever and finding myself back on the map. Also I don't think I got one clue from the ferris wheel this last time. One more thing happened, the final password. I know the first two times I entered it I spelled it wrong, but I am pretty sure I spelled it correctly two more times before it finally accepted the third time. The word was spelled correctly in my tablet's list of previously entered words.

I do know Sal finished just before my final attempt to enter the password. Could two or more players submitting at the same time cause one not to be accepted?

Sindy and Shell - were you guys multi-tabbing by any chance? I know that stuff like that happened to me when I had two Sleuth windows open, but after I stopped doing that, those errors went away too.

Not multi-tabbing.
