The latest expansion to Sleuth: Noir, the Battery Boardwalk, will be released just after server turn over on Saturday 8th April 2017. It's been nearly eight years since brass rings were added to the detective page, and in a few short weeks everyone will be able to get their hands on them.

The main feature will be a multiplayer experience called a Carousel Furore. The Furores will see between four and eight players race to gather twenty clues by exploring the Boardwalk, trading with one another, and engaging in espionage. A number of these games will happen everyday and the content will be open to free players. Subscribers will, however, have more opportunity to participate.

Exact times for the Furores on the Saturday will be released near or on the release date. Until then, happy Sleuthing!

Sorry to have left you out, Anikka! You can see how uninformed I am on the original work. :-) Thank you for your work as well, I hope the new Boardwalk doesn't let you down.

Finally, we get to reach for that elusive brass ring.
Thanks to everyone who worked on the boardwalk.

Ms Helen, after I get a chance to explore the boardwalk I would be very interested to hear what the original vision for the expansion was.

I'm very curious to see what the hell one could do with a brass ring.

Traditionally one would trade them in for a free ride on the carousel.

And there was I thinking you used them to lead a bull by the nose.

Or to throw them around bottles.
