We've deployed something of a bug bashing update. One should no longer get those weird cases that lock down one's contacts despite not getting the nemesis twist (this tended to be particularly apparent on the ship). In addition all cities should now, finally, have the same chance of pulling a nemesis twist so there's no need to be stuck in Cairo unless you like it that way.

The way that taking multiple items out of an agency locker is handled by the game itself has been changed, I hope the locker ghost that haunts taking out multiple items at once has at least been somewhat subdued - please let me know if that one strikes again. I haven't done anything about the apartment locker ghost, so that remains at large and dangerous.

Finally a bunch of typos have been corrected, spotting these is probably a job for Riza Hawkeye and Bela Talbot as it tended to be their diligent work that alerted me to the typos in the first place. If you do spot any bugs or typos please do make a report, as I do get around to them eventually.

My new Chrome update on mobile is offering to make the pages mobile friendly soooo... Myeah. Desperate need of upgrade, but we've talked about this a million times already.

I was in Shanghai today and dropped by to get my next mission from the Waitress, as I mentioned before, when this happened:

Having completed the task Tammy had set before me, I asked her for the clue I was looking for. As she handed me a small slip of paper, no doubt containing the clue I worked so hard to get, she looked me in the eye and said, "Nice job, detective. I hope we never meet again under these circumstances. Good luck."

Thanks for the free clue, though I'm sure this was never intended... I apologize for it, since I was only looking for my next task before heading to NY to get my clue there.

Having completed the task Thaddeus had set before me, I asked him for the clue I was looking for. As he handed me a small slip of paper, no doubt containing the clue I worked so hard to get, he looked me in the eye and said, "Nice job, detective. I hope we never meet again under these circumstances. Good luck."

Mission Completed

2 is found in the same column as ^

So yeah, 2 clues with one stone. And at least I don't have to get those darn twists for now!

The bug fixes for the bug fixes have hit the game. Please let me know if anything still seems to be broken, or if I'm introduced anything else.

Many thanks Yeti and Ben. Thought I was going to go crazy from all those twists :)

mmm how much nicer does the research response text look now. (it's the little things.)

I noticed that as well - at least we now don't have to read through large texts of explanations as to why the person in the research couldn't have been the killer :)

Thanks for that!

I just noticed some pictures don't load of people's profiles and such (regarding avatars).

Also happens in game info and moderator picks and see who's logged on.

Is this on my side or do other people also have trouble with this?

I also confirmed this does happen for equipment pictures as well, on people's profiles.

Well this is an exciting one. If anyone presses Ctrl + F5 they can wipe out all the images in their cache.

The image server appears to be having issues. Hopefully it'll correct itself, but if it doesn't Ben will have to reboot it.

For avoidance of doubt pressing Ctrl + F5 will wipe out all the images on whatever page you're on.
