So, with the Olympics and the AB game out of the way I'm now going to be hosting a round of The Resistance. The Announcer has a set of rules and information about the game here:

We need 5-10 players to sign up. Ideally you need to be able to log in and take your actions here at least once every 24 hours. If after 24 hours you haven't taken a required action, any other player will be able to call time on you, and your vote will be randomised. In the case of proposing a team your team proposal will automatically fail if time is called, with the exception of the final mission proposal before spies win by default.

NO CONFIDENCE: Whoever receives this can, after a mission proposal has been successfully approved through voting, force that proposal to fail. This would move leadership to the next player.

OVERHEARD CONVERSATION: Whoever receives this will immediately learn the allegiance of the player above or below them on the list. They will choose the player, and I will PM them that player's allegiance.

Riza, please propose a team of four. As a reminder to all; two spies are required to SABOTAGE this mission.

Okay, I'll shut up - we're one up anyway; even if Sindy is a spy, she's not a filthy one. :) The Mission 3 team +1 then? Since DW is Resistance for sure, she should get one of the powers. I'm leaning towards OVERHEARD CONVERSATION because whatever she reveals to us on the boards can be trusted too, but NO CONFIDENCE should not fall into spy hands either. Maybe Helen can get that? DW, if you get OC, you should use it on Sal since that would give you information on Riza too - if he's Resistance, Riza's a spy and the saboteur on the second mission would have to be either me or Sindy; if you take all the other four on the next mission, you've removed at least two spies and you couldn't have more than one spy on the fourth mission. If Sal's a spy, then leave Sal and Molly and I out of the fourth mission, and with all the rest on the fourth team, you couldn't have more than one spy on the fourth mission. Win-win.

Riza, if you're Resistance, surely you understand that this is the best thing for you to do that everybody else can get behind too. If you're a spy, I suppose you'll have to pretend you didn't see this. ;D

I was actually planning just that, Bela, if I get the OC power. Using it on Sal. That should clear up one big mystery and set us up for the rest of the ride. Riza, be a dear, dear :D

Okay, just one more to go round to go!

I remember my first game I was a spy and I said that the resistance had it easy because they didn't have anything to prove. Autumnsprings told me, "No, the resistance has to prove they're resistance."

I kind of pooh-poohed that idea at the time, but I now I know that she was right!
