There will be 3 activities this week. All events will start on Thursday, August 11, 12:00 AM, SST. Last week was a sprint. This week (and next) is a marathon. Good luck. ;-)

1. Treasure Hunts - Week 1
This event will last TWO weeks. You need to complete a total of six hunts, 3 Single-City, and 3 Multi-City. Any hunt opened before Thursday, August 11, 12:00 AM, SST, will be discarded. Hunts can start in any city, and be from any faction. All teams get 30 points for each hunt they participate in. Teams who win a hunt get 100 points. Once teams have completed all hunts, they are ineligible from further competition in this activity.

Hunts will be divided under the following categories:

Prizes you can Wear.
Prizes you can Hold.
Prizes you can Use.

For example, The Sacred Atlas of Al Capone is a Multi-City hunt currently being run out of Delhi. An atlas is NOT something you can wear. It is, however, something you can hold, or use, so it would qualify for the second or third categories, but not the first. Another example, The Golden Ring of Al Capone, is a Single-City hunt currently being run out of Shanghai. A ring is something you can wear and hold, but not use. So it would qualify for the first and second categories, but not the third. Teams may determine which categories their prizes fall under, but only one category may be used for one prize. You must use 3 Single-City hunts in each category, and 3 Multi-City hunts. If you have a question about what category a prize falls into, please PM the Judges (Breitkat, Riza, or Squirrel).

2. Scavenger Hunt - Week 1
This is part one of two. Teams have ONE week to complete this activity. All teams must empty their Lockers of all IH favor reward items, unless they are a part of a member's uniform. Please send a screenshot to Riza Hawkeye when you have done so for verification. Please also remember that we have an honour system in place for this competition, and we are trusting you NOT to hoard things in your Apartments.

One clarification:

The Role Playing Contest is 2000 CHARACTERS, not 2000 words. Sorry bout that. ;-)

Can the TH thing be more confusing?

Do we also have to get rid of all the smart gear? I mean we keep smart gear stored for crime scene analysis. Those items are not part of a uniform per se but everyone in the agency can use them for PE analysis.

I'm pretty sure I could say: You would NOT have to get rid of your smart gear that is part of your regular equipment, regardless of where it is an IH item or not. That would be stoopid.

erm I CAN see how the TH's alongside the scavenger hunt could be logistically challenging...

I hope everyone realizes we don't all start with the same handicap.

Get real, BadAss. I'm not THAT much of a stickler. C'mon, people, use yer heads here.

*Sigh.*

Lemme try and explain this a bit simpler. Do six hunts, 3 Single-City and 3 Multi-City. Make sure the prizes you're searching for fall into one of the listed categories. When you've solved all six treasure hunts, you're done. There, finito.

Of the six hunts currently displayed in City Hall, there are:

Falcon - qualifies into the Wear or Hold category
Atlas - qualifies into the Hold or Use category
Goblet - qualifies into the Hold or Use category
Ring - qualifies into the Wear or Hold category
Hookah - qualifies into the Hold or Use category

So. There are several that can fit in the Hold or Use categories, and two that land in the Wear category. As we get more hunts, there will be more that qualify for the wearable category (Crowns, Necklaces, Bracelets, Shields, etc.). Again, teams make the distinction which prize they want to fit which category.

If you have specific questions about the Treasure Hunts, leave them here, or PM me, and I'll do my best to answer them.

Remember, this is a TWO-WEEK event. You have lots of time to get as many hunts as possible done (will any team get all six done? I have no clue. We'll find out; remember--this is a marathon.)

I know this doesn't make a lot of sense to people, but the hunts you guys did last week didn't make sense to a lot of you. And you all got through them!! So give it a go!! 😉

And I've already PM'ed BadAss about his handicapping problem, so thank you for pointing that out, BadAss. ;-)

Thank you, and let's head to the starting lines!! ;-)

What about the prizes? How do we split the hunts?

This "you must use 3 Single-City hunts in each category, and 3 Multi-City hunts" isn't clear for me. Help?:D

I'm still not convinced that there is no handicap. You don't have to be a genius to see that.

But I don't want to dwell on it either so let's get started :0
