As Miss Hawkeye will be quite busy doing background work on the Olympics, this round of Resistance will return to its original format. There will be no story to accompany the missions, but everything else will work the same as usual.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions." The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

I will serve as game master. Once we get enough people to play (5-10 total), I will PM everyone their allegiance (either "Resistance" or "Spy"). If you are a "Spy," I will also PM you the names of your co-conspirators.

A "leader" will be chosen at random for the first mission. The leader has 2 important functions:
1) The leader will assign various "role" abilities to players. These are one-shot special powers a player can use to learn more information about someone.
2) The leader will assign players to the "team" for that mission.

Missions will have a varying number of players who are selected; the leader picks a team, then every player will vote on whether or not they approve the team by PMing me. Once all the votes are cast, I will post the voting results. If a majority approves the team, the mission starts. If not, the mission does not start, and the next player in line becomes the new "leader" for that round. This continues until either a mission is approved, or 5 consecutive mission teams are rejected (in which case the spies win automatically.)

Once a mission team is approved, those players will PM me their choice of action during that mission. Resistance players will ALWAYS choose to have the mission succeed by sending "Success," while spies have a choice: they can either elect to have the mission succeed (to throw off suspicion), or they can "Sabotage" the mission.

Oh I'll sabotage alright, if we're referring to your silly attempts to suggest I'm a spy based on zero evidence. Tell me what's so suspicious, hmmm?

I was going "not this again" because everybody knows now that Joseph and jroepel will also come around and say "yup, these three: spies!" but I then I realized this: if this mission succeeds, I don't really mind all of that; call me a spy all you want, and send the same team on the next mission. However, I doubt that it will succeed, because it will leave the spies in a pretty difficult position. I'm very tempted to ask Sal if he could use his spotlight card on one of the three on the team because I figure any spy on the team will have to sabotage this mission. If we can clear a single person, and one of the other two sabotaged, we'd know for sure that at least one of the two was a spy. It's possible that the person we clear may also be a spy, but there can only be a max of two spies on this team because either Yeti is a spy, or DW is a spy, or both are (my favourite scenario so far, for totally biased drama-based reasons :D).

Your reasoning for voting through the team with Devi on it was suspicious, your not finding Sal suspicious was suspicious, your entire demeanour is suspicious. You're an entire package of suspicious, all wrapped up in a red flag. You *could* be resistance, but it's really not very likely is it?

Ha. For the sake of clarity that last message was directed at Molly, not Bela. If Sal does opt to use his spotlight card he should direct it at Molly.

Oh. I had this written up a few hours ago, like when Molly's post at 8:17 was hot news. Oops :P

Oops, yes, Mission 3 only requires 3 members. I am getting mixed up, andI reviewed and Yeti did vote 'No' in M2T1. That I apologize, but that doesn't make you less suapicious.

Yeti is a spy, stop listening to him. The second he lied about me it became easy to see through his bull. First he wants to team up with Sal, then he accused him of being a spy once everyone saw this. Then he suggests they show and tell their allegiances to one another, then Sal is a spy again. He's going for 'lets dazzle them until they forget' tactic

Everything I've done has been to help the resistance. The only "suspicious" thing I've done is vote against teams which either definitely, or likely, have spies on them, which is exactly what I'm meant to be doing! If this mission fails I think it's time for you and others to reconsider your opinions on me.

That message was to Joseph, not Devi. There's no point trying to win confirmed spies to my cause is there?

Oh fiddlesticks, Yeti. Everyone's suspicious! I clearly outlined all my reasons and you're just calling me a spy cause it didn't go in your favor. I agree that Sal should use his In the Spotlight on any member of this team because as Bela states it would get us somewhere clarity-wise. He can use it on me if he likes but I assure you the result will be quite boring for you all. :)

I totally agree with you on the shocking double plot twist both DW and Yeti being spies would make, Bela!
