One of the most prominent yet elusive people of Sleuthville, the legendary Big Lucy herself, is hitting a new milestone in life. While none are bold enough to inquire her age, rumors say this is a momentous occasion. The guest list is comprised of the most prominent and affluent people in Sleuthville and beyond.

However, some of Sleuthville's own working class have been invited-- not as guests, but as special operatives to patrol the event. They have been selected for their swiftness, skill, and intelligence. They will be entrusted with making sure that Big Lucy's Birthday Bash goes off without a hitch. But, as always, there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames.

A mere three minutes before the event is scheduled to start, the operatives are informed of an alarming development. There has been a breach within the ranks, and a number of spies have infiltrated the group! Having never seen each others' faces, there is no way to discern whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure Big Lucy's birthday celebration goes off without a hitch. If she is pleased at the end of the night, it is almost guaranteed that they will lead easy lives from thereon out. Whispers say Big Lucy may be more forgiving on her big day, but even she has her limits...

Will Big Lucy's birthday bash be a huge success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

Let's get to the bottom of the important points here.. Sindy, Marmite is a spread made out of yeast extract. It's popular in Britain and New Zealand, and hated everywhere else on the planet. Australians like to consume its lesser cousin, Vegemite

To everything else; oh how the spies start bleating from the woodwork.

To any Resistance member who is unsure of me, I was lined up to be on that last team. As a Spy I could have argued for it, tried to get it passed, then sabotaged it. It'd have been so difficult for the Resistance to come back from 2-0 down. But I didn't argue to get it passed, I argued tooth and nail to have it voted down. That wasn't a Spy move. Keira and I are the most trustworthy people right now; let's save this party.

Autumn, I really thought you were genuine in your explanations and wanted to trust you. As you've said everything is done in good fun, it is very possible you and Yeti are all in this together, playing as Spies, or possibly Yeti is convincing everyone including yourself on a 'make up' list (i've no idea why he conveniently forget that Devi also voted Yes on the previous team, so now i have my suspicion on her too).

As Ms. Helen pointed out correctly (although I have my suspicions on her as well), we Resistance can only vote down 4 teams max, so, if we keep voting them down, we will have no choice but to agree to whichever members the fifth team picks, whose leader would happen to be... Keira!

It is the first time that I play this game and Yeti started off as a sure-footed leader. He said that ppl who voted yes are suspicious, and I believed him at first. Now I realize the catch in the end. Resistance wants missions to go through to gain wins too, as 5 vetoes would lead to a Spy win. Apparently seeing the yes/no votes doesn't tell us as much as i was told (as I read once somewhere, this is not a game of Master mind), and as I recently discovered, only team 1 of each mission would gain useful cards/abilities. Keep voting teams down to me now seem more like a ploy applied by spies.

That said, it's time for me to pick a team and keep having it voted down is pointless and dangerous. Yeti will definitely not be on this team and keep voting it down will only play it into his hand. I don't mind not being on it, but between Autumn and Marc it is a 50/50 chance of picking a spy. Please feel free to make suggestions (and I prefer that it is not Yeti or Autumn who makes it, although between Autumn and Marc, I'd still prefer Autumn to be in the team).

I was genuine zeo. And at the end of this game, I will be able to prove it to you. One thing I greatly disliked about reading the past games is how divisive it is. Especially here, where we have such a close, warm community. This game brings in suspicion, paranoia, doubt, and anger. That's the one thing I REALLY don't like. I hope we can all remember at the end that we are still part of that great, warm community, and hopefully nothing said here in anger would be intended to hurt someone. If whether I've known you for years or this is my first personal interaction with you, I truly do care about everyone. Some more than others but I do think this is a great group, including the organizer, Riza and the ever-distiguished announcer, The Announcer.

I look forward to actually being able to discuss the team.

A game is a game and I'm sure we're all mature enough to partition ourselves, when the game is over :) In the mean time, I must apologize that I have quite a single-tracked mind and difficult for me to look at messages from fellow players, even if the content has nothing to do with the game. Thank you for updating me on the situation with your eyes, and your health is surely in my prayers.

That doesn't make you a lesser spy though ;P
I don't mind hearing your thoughts on the team set up, as long as it is away from Yeti's influence.

Thank you for the prayers. They are very much appreciated.

If I had to create a team of four right now, I think I would chose myself, devi, jroepel and Marc.

If you don't want Marc on there, put in Kiera.

I don't trust Marc, and I'm suspicious of Devi...

Oh, just look at past games. I always vote yes on a mission. I'm resistance and that's that. Thankful for it, too, since I don't have the deviousness to be a spy. Look that up too, lol. This way I get to check in every once in a while when the kid permits and see if I have to vote for something. Also, one more reason I voted Yes was because I actually wanted to play a round. Oh well.

So put in Kiera. And what has devi done to be suspicious?

Yeti, I don't for one nanosecond underestimate your intelligence.

As a programmer, the odds are pretty good that you are also a math whiz. And math whizzes are ALWAYS master strategists and excellent chess players. All chess players know that you must sacrifice some moves to win the end game. So, of course, if you are a spy you are not going to tip your hand until you absolutely have to.

I can only restate that your efforts to influence everyone else's view of how to play the game, interpret the votes, and cast suspicion on other players from the very beginning has made me very suspicious of you.
