In just under six weeks, the 31st Summer Olympics and the 15th Paralympics will occur in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Athletes from over 190 countries around the world will gather to compete in some 35 different overall sports over a period of about 3 weeks.

Many people have commented recently that they would like to see some more activities taking place here on Sleuth. A few of us creatively evil types were wondering if we put together a series of activities for people, would y'all be interested??

We are looking for at least 8-12 people, of all experience levels; both hunters (treasure, casework, and Arch Villain) and writers will be needed. People will be competing in a team format. We're probably looking at Subbed players for now, but we're working on having at least two activities (not necessarily part of the teams, but supplemental to them) that will be exclusive to UNSUBBED players. All of these activities will have an Olympics theme.

So. Any takers?? ;-)

Please let us know below.

Thank you!!
Breit

And I hear they had a delightful time in Vegas with the contents of said envelope. But I wouldn't count on that to improve your standings any, BadAss. Sorry. ;-)

B.

P.S.--Squirrel, you owe me that pool toy for Missy from Siegfried and Roy. ;-D

It was only a portion of the total they received. The rest follows after they did their end of the bargain.

Anybody interested in the results of the judges' inspection of the agencies can find them in the 'Sleuth Olympics First Week's Activities' thread.

This is my way of saying "sorry for posting in the wrong thread". :)

Wow. I guess they really were on pins and needles over those results. Ah well, surprise over. Ice cream, Dany?? ;-)

I've been a bit backlogged, sorry. ;-)

Vulkie, I'll take a chocolate ice cream, please!! ;-) And sorry about the Catacomb map thing. I hear Shady is interested in buying a couple though?? ;-D

Autumn, no offence taken. I've got a couple comments posted in the ''First Week's Activities'' thread about this. But you all did a great job on your Agencies, you really did. ;-)

BadAss and Vulkie, you guys start a poison dart competition in here, you clean it up. And pay your own bail money. ;-)

Now back to the Frying Pan Toss. Go Sultry!! Go get McCoy!! ;-D

Hey Breit,

Don't worry about the backlog - you have so much going at the moment, I'm still wondering how you're getting those eight hours of sleep 0_0.

*passes a chocolate ice cream cone towards Breit* - Thanks for the tip on Shady though.

And with the amount of money I make on these ice cream sales, I'm sure I can pay the bail money. Just don't look at me when I bring my blowdart pipe with me at a certain event :)

For those who are interested, the 31st Summer Olympics opened in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil today. You can watch some 7000 hours of media coverage on the various NBC networks here in the U.S.A, or check your local media if you're not located in the United States. Or, you can look online for continuous coverage at:

http://www.nbcolympics.com/live-stream-schedule

If you're not a big sports fan, you might go check it out anyway. There's lots of sports on the Olympics that many people don't normally consider to be sports -- whitewater rafting, trampoline gymnastics, open-water swimming, tennis, and horse-back riding, to name a few. It's the one time every four years that Joe Q. Public can revel in things they do every day.

Thank you, and continued good luck with your hunts!!

Go Teams!! ;-D
