Here's a new idea. Since everyone goes on vacation or has to go away for a day or two, could you institute an "away" mode?
The "away" mode would be specifically for people in agencies, and they would put themselves in "away" mode, and take themselves out of "away" mode as well.
While in "away" mode, every 12 hours, 1/2 of the cases that person could have would be automatically put into the storage files for the agency. If there is not enough room for the files, then they would be lost.

it could be combined with the away button.
like this work places where they have your name on a piece that u can slide to "online" or "away coming back at..."

I think all the ideas on this thread are excellent. Especially Reda's would be MOST convenient.

Hi Ben, I think another addition that I would find quite helpful is an indicator on my own case files of which are marked private and which aren't.

I would love an away mode that prevents your standing from going down every day, but it'd have to be made so you couldn't cheat by being 'away' every day until you log on the next day.

erm...ben, can we have a choice as to which treasure a townie tells us when he happens to know the whereabouts of more than one of your treasures? e.g. right now we're in 2 treasure hunts and in both cases, the banker is the next victim of torturous interrogation techiques...

No, you'll randomly get information on one of the appropriate hunts. That is one advantage to only being involved in one hunt at a time. I'm considering allowing an agency to pull out of a hunt, for precisely that reason.
