The rival factions of the city of Shangri-La have been at odds for years. The Tigers seek to crush all opposition to the Prince’s rule, while the Tea Steepers are disapproving of the new Prince’s disregard for the peaceful traditions of Shangri-La.

To complicate an already fragile state of co-existence, quite a few nemesis hunters have gained the trust of both factions. Both factions, while obliged to be cordial to their new saviours, are feeling uneasy with what is apparently the new status-quo. The Prince’s soldiers have worked to ensured that the Monastery is off-limits to all visitors to Shangri-La, but this hasn’t stopped the Steepers from finding detectives sympathetic to their cause and collaborating with them â€" and the Tigers know it.

With the haunting clickety-clack-clack of countless pairs of Polka Dot Pumps ringing in his ears, the Chief of the Tigers of Shangri-La resolves to destroy the Tea Steepers once and for all. The Tea Steepers, fully aware of the plans the Tigers have in store for them, put together a team of detectives to put their plan into action. The wise monks of Shangri-La (after a few brainstorming sessions with the Scholars of Shangri-La â€" because you can never escape the Scholars of Shangri-La) know that there is but one way to protect their campaign against what they believe to be the Prince’s oppressive rule. However, the Prince’s Chief of Security has managed to sneak a few trusted informers onto the team.

Will the Steepers succeed? Will their champions succumb to the scheming of the spies? Will we ever figure out what's going on with Rasputin’s Egg? How many Sparkly Vests are the Tigers slowly processing to createâ€"? Whoa, I nearly gave the game away there. Anyway, let’s find out!

Just a reminder to all players, Sal was a spy last time and so has an established criminal nature. Even if Bela tells him he's resistance he'll probably still try to sabotage when he's on missions.

This game of the Resistance starts now. The Resistance have their pristine record to safeguard, while this might be the spies' best chance to get a win. No pressure :)

Okay, PMing everyone their allegiances now. If you're part of the Resistance, you only know your own allegiance. If you're a spy, I will also PM you the identity of your co-conspirator.

There are 5 players; 3 are part of the Resistance loyal to the Steepers' cause, and 2 are spies.

The List (player order):

Molly Maltese
Riza Hawkeye
Yeti Face
Sal Iva
DevilishWings

You get ONE power card per mission (only the first leader per mission gets to decide which player the card goes to).

The number of players that can be on a team each mission:

Mission 1: 2
Mission 2: 3
Mission 3: 2
Mission 4: 3
Mission 5: 3

*Since there are only five players, ONE SABOTAGE vote is enough to cause the failure of any mission. I'm looking at you, mission 4.

Mission 1:

A monk rushes in into the private room at the back of 'Top of the World Teas' to find the team of detectives that the Tea Steepers have put together in varying degrees of boredom. "Detectives, you must take this to the meditation pools immediately!", he cries out. He motions for them to get up, and turns around to a table at the corner to place his burden on it. He swaddles it lovingly in some brown cloth that lay on the table, and turns around to face the group once more.

"Never did I imagine that I would live to see this...but to resurface in our time of need...our salvation!", he muttered to himself, his eyes staring ahead unseeingly at the perplexed group before him.

"He looks spy-ish, right?" whispers Yeti, to nobody in particular. "Wait, are those.....pants?!!", he exclaims, moving forward to get a better look.

"Okay, I think pants already know what to expect from life; why would they need to go to the pools?", says DevilishWings, looking around for support.

"Well, it's freezing here most of the time. Turning a few of those foxtail boas they hoard into some pants might not be the worst idea. And they could by shiny. Shiny. They have tons of sparkly vests too, I'm sure.", muses Riza, turning to look at Sal. "Yeah, sure, their salvation.", says Sal, looking a little unconvinced.

The monk, still holding onto whatever he'd brought in, continued talking as he ushered the five out of the tea shop. "This Egg...now, during our times of strife, it may finally reveal the secret. I'm sure you detectives know what it is, you've brought in so many. It may not look like much, but surely you know not to judge a book by its cover." He turns and hands the Egg in its cover to Molly, as Yeti eyes the pants. "Detective, two of you must take this to the pool. That is for you to decide. Be careful, the palace has released the guard Peacocks to patrol the realm. A large group of detectives wandering about near the caves might attract suspicion."
