I've started work on the next update for Sleuth, and as promised it's going to be a content update. However, it's going to take a while before any of you see it, at least two months, potentially far longer than that.

Now I would hate to leave you all in the Sleuth wilderness, totally devoid of changes, so every one to two weeks I'll create an update from the suggestions you give here. An example of a small update (from the desk of Bela Talbot III) would be including your most recent fortune telling in the case file so long as you haven't discovered any new suspects since then.

Whilst this is going on I'll also fix up the small bugs lying around the game. For example, there's a certain accessory devouring fox that needs reining in, and possibly relocating. So don't worry about suggesting bug fixes here. Keep it to small things you'd like to see, or small annoyances you'd like changed.

Oh, and Ben's inbox is stuff of legend. There must be hundreds of unread messages in there.

I would really like to move to Cairo with my agency. What's keeping me from doing that is the absence of factions.

My suggestion is to create two new factions, uniquely for Cairo. You can buy special items, learn new skills and start treasure hunts for them.

The Legion of Anubis (HQ in the pyramids); skill you can learn could be necromancy so you can still question a dead suspect

The Legion of Horus (HQ at the university); skill you can learn is bribery, meaning you can ask a townie two more questions instead of just one after you bribed them

I like those ideas badass. What are you thinking of for gear? Horus could be the all seeing eye and boost your smart skills or charm (since you see everything you would know how to get more info out of the suspect.)
Anubis could give you a flail, which would boost your toughness.

I think that it would be nice to have SS and KN not only on the map page but by the names of the suspects when one is interviewing. It would not only make life easier but also avoid confusion when one is dealing with suspects with similar names (Delhi, I'm looking at you)

That *is* a cool idea Badass. Perhaps more factions is just what Cairo needs.

Cathy, SS and KN should be appearing already in the witness notes.

I like the all seeing eye, Autumn. There's lots of Egyptian stuff you can add like the golden scarab for instance, or the ankh. A scepter perhaps.

Hell, King Tut's death mask as head gear would be awesome too I think.

And if you're looking for faction titles this link may give some inspiration.

Yes, they do :). I was just wondering if they could appear next to the suspect's name that one is interviewing and not just in the notes.

SS is actually useful in the notes, but I think KN would be more useful next to the suspect's name, as a reminder to ask them for motives (in the notes, their names are crossed out anyway, it serves no additional purpose there).

And SS next to the suspects' names would be a useful reminder NOT to ask them for motives early on when one is fishing for more suspects.

Also, it would be useful to have the damning PE squared in the interview page as well as on the map (although that might be confusing for some if the suspect has a real alibi).

Anyway, those are just my two cents.

That's a badass suggestion, BadAss :)) No, really, puns aside, I'd love for there to be more to do in Cairo.
