Hi Ben is their a glitch in the game system on favors. 3 of my agents have had problems with them in the last couple of days one yesterday had to do 4 cases before they got a favor. My co director had to do 6 cases in a row before he got a favor, and another one of my agents has done 3 correctly and is working on anothe case to get a favor. All 3 of them had no quits or false accuations.
Thanks

It happened to me last night for the first time.
I actually had a favour, played one extra normal case. Ordinarily, this means after I played the favour, I would have to play 2 normal cases to get the next. I had to play 4. This means I played a total of 5 normal cases to get another favour.

Two other detectives of mine are pretty sure the same thing are happening to them.

We found that sometimes when you start your third case, you can ask a townie what your next favor will be. Maybe one time in 5 they will tell us. I never tried to store that case and see if I could go directly to the favor.

We have also had the problem of occasionally needing a fourth case to get a favor - but that seems to be balanced by someone else in the agency getting one after two, so we thought it might be linked to whether a teammate helped with the case, and then put it back for us. That seems to be when it happens most often. Its not very frequent in any event.

I've tried it a few times as well, but I just used to assume that it was because I had lost track of how many cases I had finished while still holding onto a favour, since doing more than 2 before moving on to the favour will upset the pattern. But admittedly there have been instances where I wasn't sure that I had actually counted wrong.

Greyling - its not just an accounting problem; a couple of us keep very good track of our cases so we know what favors we are holding, and the game really does let you find out your next one early sometimes. That used to be a closely guarded agency secret, but what the heck! We will have to settle for the secret handshake ;-)

friday he had to use six to get one couple of times the guy had to use 4 to get 1 favor. he solved them all right to. just kind of weird. Especially the 6 the other day thats the most i've heard of. i know once a long time ago i had to do 5 but never heard of 6.

I had to do six once (ages ago) - just figured the 'counter' missed the favor - it only happened once, though.

We also had reports of someone only having to do 2 cases instead of 3.

I always know exactly when my next favours come. I am sure I did 5 normal cases to get to a favour.

I've, at times, only had to do 2 cases to get a favor, but I've noticed that this seems to be when I've held the previous favor for a VERY long time, like for a treasure hunt. I always attributed it to that.
