Getting the same piece of evidence four times over will happen once in every two-hundred-and-fifty cases or so. Following on from this of course means that you'll get a case like yours, where four bits of evidence are all the same and match your contact, once in every thousand cases. Or to put that in different terms, if you play through most of your cases everyday this should happen once every three months. Or four times a year. This was indeed a special day for you, good going. :)

Since I'm unsubscribed, I only get to play four cases a day (five including a favour). So it would take me even longer to get such a case again, I guess.

Oh, well, in that case expect those cases every nine months or so. :P I didn't bother applying favours to the calculations to be fair, so that was an oversight. It's your lucky streak Coral, doubtless you should subscribe so you can travel to Shanghai and spend all your money on the horse betting they have there.

Reading this I realized just how long I've been playing the game for (on and off). Devi was created on June 26 2006, while Deathangelll, my first detective, got her badge on July 13, 2015. Darn.
