After a period of absence, THE RESISTANCE has returned to the Sleuth boards with a healthy Yeti-flavoured taste.

For those unfamiliar, The Resistance is a social game of limited information. Players are split into two teams, one team being true members of the resistance, and the other being spies who have infiltrated the group. Over a course of five missions, resistance members aim to have three missions succeed, whereas spies aim to sabotage three of them. The only way for players to communicate with each other will be through this thread.

I'll post a detailed set of rules once the sign up process is over, but to give you an idea of how the game goes the first The Resistance thread on the Sleuth boards is here: http://noir.playsleuth.com/map/cityhall/post.spy?id=34582&first_record=302111

We'll need five to ten players in order to start the game. I'd like to keep this game flowing, so before putting your name down please make sure that to the best of your knowledge you'll be able to log in at least once a day for the next two weeks. You will not receive financial payment for playing THE RESISTANCE.

Alrightie, not much chance I won't mess this up, but here goes, lol. I think I'll work my way down the list.

I propose Devilish Wings and Turtledove for the team. And I would like to assign Overheard Conversation to myself.

Have I messed it up - I've messed it up, haven't I? lol

I think we're good to go with that. Soheir has proposed a team of Devi and Turtledove for the first mission. Everyone please message me privately with your YES/NO votes for whether or not you'd that line up to attempt the mission - including you Soheir. We'll need four YES votes in order for the mission to proceed - and if it does then Devi and Turtledove will then have to message me with their SUCCESS/SABOTAGE votes. If however there are three or more NO votes, Devi will get to put together a team instead.

As for your OVERHEARD CONVERSATION power Soheir, since you've taken it yourself you can use it on either Devi or Mac Kerrel, and I then will message you their allegiance privately.

Sorry Lou, much to the opposite of my pic, I am nervous! That paranoid uneasiness was uncalled for - but at this point anything anyone says will make me feel that way, lol.
