~It says you get a subscription if your featured mystery is approved.
~Exactly how long is that?

I assume when it goes public. The writing and editing process depends on you, and when Ben sees it up to a standard fit for publication.
Maybe you can ask John Hale for advise.

Is the question about the length of time to approve the mystery, or is it about the length of the subscription?

I know the answer to this one!
You get the subscription when Ben tells you it has been approved. This is about a few days after you send it in.
The subscription time is about 2-4 monthes. It all depends.

Jojo probably means it depends on how Ben feels when he approves the mystery. :)
Just a guess - but I really think it would depend on the level the mystery is set at.

Why? The level of the history doesn't make easier or harder to write. Unless, you don't mean hard, incredibly hard. Or more so how much work was put in to it?

It is based on, as I've been told, the quality of the work.

Quality - should've thought of that. Especially since I write so much - and get payed for most of what I write. I guessed the level since it gets set by suspect number, and the more suspects there are, the more dialouge there usually is. I probably thought that since normally the more dialouge a story has, the harder it is for me to write.
