See if there is interest for this.
1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

I love Harry Potter and my order is already in for the new one due in July. Books much better than the films.

One of my favorite subjects:
Musical Theater!
1. What Broadway show ends with pushing out the audience with the song "Good-Bye"?
2. In West Side Story, in what song do Action and the Jets see a judge, headshrinker, and social worker?
3. What musical contains a song with the line "You can't stop an avalanche as it races down the hill."?
4. Which musical contains a song telling a character to forget about a boy?
5. What musical show was turned into a movie in 2003?
6. Who wrote the lyrics and music for The Lion King?
7. In Fame, how many times does the word 'baby' appear in the song Fame?
8. According to The Sound of Music, when can you sing most anything?
9. In what musical do the poor describe their lives in song?
10. In what musical is a character singing while writing to his pen-pal?

Musicals aren't my strong suit, but I'll give it a shot:
2) Officer Krupke!
4) There has to be dozens... how about Gigi?
5) Les Mis... or was that earlier?
6) Elton John
8) When you know the notes to sing
9) Fiddler on the Roof, Little Orphan Annie, probably others...

Well, I know even less about musicals. I wasn't going to answer, as I'll probably make a fool out of myself for my contentiousness, but ...
6) I think the answer is Elton John, EXCEPT I don't think he wrote the lyrics. Elton John always has someone else writing his lyrics (though I can't remember the regular guys name). He's a famous non-lyricist : o )
9) Surely there are loads - my two were Les Miserables and Oliver.
