See if there is interest for this.

1. Each day I will post 10 questions, at random times of the day.
2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.
5. No cash involved. Just glory. :)

Okay, here's the answers:

1. Mount Everest is 29,028 ft. high, the tallest mountain on Earth.
2. The Dead Sea, located in Israel and Jordan, is 1,312 ft. below sea level, making it the lowest point on land in the world.
3. There are two. John Quincy Adams was the son of the second President, John Adams, and our current President, George W. Bush, is the son of our 41st President, George H.W. Bush.
4. R.S.V.P. stands for Repondez, s'il vous plait, as Biggie said, but in English it means 'Please answer (or) respond.
5. Iron oxide is plain ol' ordinary rust.
6. The largest living land animal is the elephant.
7. The colors of the spectrum are red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet.
8. Seward's Folly is also know as the great state of Alaska. The Secretary of State at the time, William Seward, purchased the land from Russia for the unheard of price of $7.2 million.
9. On the TV show, Bo Duke was played by John Schneider, and Luke Duke was played by Tom Wopat.
10. The largest lake in the world is the Caspian Sea, located in Russia and Iran. The largest freshwater lake is Lake Baikal, located in Russia, so I'll give credit to Rosamund for that.
11. All spiders have 8 legs. Most also have 8 eyes, though they can have anywhere from 2-12, but always in pairs.
12. The tallest living animal on Earth is the giraffe.
13. The largest rodent on Earth (aside from our beloved Squirrel ;-) is the Capybara. It stands about 2 feet high at the shoulder, and can weigh over 100 pounds.
14. The Ewings' ranch on the TV show Dallas was Southfork.
15. New Zealand was the first country to give women the right to vote, in 1893.

BONUS:
1. Delaware was the first state to ratify the Constitution, and bears the official nickname of 'First State'.
2. O.P.E.C. stands for the Organization of Petroleum-Exporting Countries.
3. Indiana Jones' official name was Henry Jones, Jr. He picked up the nickname 'Indiana' from a dog he had in his youth.
