2. Each Quiz runs exactly 24 hours.
3. The first person that has all 10 questions right, wins. Or if no one has all questions right, the best one wins.
4. You can only post answers ONCE for the same quiz.

In honor of the anticipated opening of our latest city, Cairo, here's a quiz celebrating the City of the Victorious, and the land of its ancient wonders, Egypt.

AL-QAHIRAH -- THE VICTORIOUS

1. Egyptians also call Cairo by another name, which also happens to be the Arabic name for Egypt too. Can you name it?

3. What's the official currency of Egypt?

4. Cairo is divided into two halves, the old or eastern city, and the new, or western city. The western half was designed in the mid 19th century by Ismail the Magnificent on a model of another famous European city. Name it.

5. How many pyramids are currently known to be in Egypt?

6. This Greek mathematician (c. 325 - c. 265 BC), lived in Alexandria, Egypt, and is considered by many to be the Father of Geometry. Can you name him?

7. Egypt is home to two of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Name them.

9. One of the oldest operating universities in the world is located in Cairo. It was founded in 988 AD as a 'center of Islamic scholarship and education.' Name it.

10. The Museum of Egyptian Antiquities, also known as the Egyptian Museum, is home to the world's largest collection of ancient Egyptian antiquities. Many consider this famous Pharoah's artifacts the highlight of the collection. The Pharoah's tomb was one of the only tombs ever discovered to be almost entirely undisturbed. Can you name him?
