2. Mick Hammer? Mick Spade? Mike Rake? Mike Hoe?
3.

I guessed all of these except the Sam Spade one and I have an inkling that Amelia one, is where she is an archelogist? Hence the King Tut guess.

Tried to work out the cryptics but not that great at them.

Good quiz though, I enjoyed it.

Doing my best not to read the previous answers...

1. Googled this one, which probably counts as cheating, but it was bugging me. I found a series called 'Inspector Rex'.
2. ??
3. Nancy Drew
4. That TV guy called Monk. Can't remember his first name.
5. Nero Wolfe
6. Sam Spade
7. The Hardy Boys
8. Father Brown

9. Cabot Cove, The Mirror Crack'd
10. Egypt, don't know so I'll take a wild guess at Anubis (!)
11. Really ought to know but don't. Chicago?

12. The only thing that comes to mind is something to do with Belgium: Hercule Poirot was Belgian and Thomson & Thompson are characters in Tintin, which was created by a Belgian. No idea where Magnum would come into it, though.
13. 'They're French?

I cannot BELIEVE I didn't get *****spoiler spoiler spoiler***** The Hardy Boys!!! I see Cordy's written down The Hardy Boys, and I'm like, what? there was nothing hardy-boy related here...so dumb! One of the only things I actually knew kinda in-depth, and didn't just pull out of a random corner of my brain, and I go and lose it :P
