Greetings all. I've missed you all greatly. Unfortunately, I became very ill and then became more ill. I am now waiting for a matching liver as mine has almost completely failed. Chemo was really hard on it. But, for now, I'm still among the living with a prognosis of 6 to 8 months. I intend to last longer than that, lol. Anyway, I will check in and play as my health permits. Good to see you all. :)

I'm currently spending a couple of weeks in the Pacific Northwest, visiting Della and her family, and trying to help her get her spirits up a bit. She's had a very hard time recovering, first from her illness, and then from the chemotherapy that basically saved her life. Unfortunately, the chemo destroyed most of her liver, and she desperately needs a transplant (either living or via donor).

She could really use some kind thoughts and words through this time right now. It would be wonderful if the Sleuth Community could show her how generous and kind that I know you all are. Please, please, please, show her how much you all care.

I've been spending the past week with Della in the Pacific Northwest. We've been having a great time catching up together. Sorry we haven't had a whole lot of time to be on the computer, but I've tried to check in when I could. I'll be here through Monday. Hope to see some Sleuth people in this area, perhaps. ;-D

Oh, I hope you get better, Della...don't know you, but you seem like a great player, and right now, that's all I can say without being called on my bluff :) But really, I'm sure all of us here on Sleuth hope you do get better soon :-)

Sorry I haven't been around much recently. I keep having to fight a recurring killer migraine. One of these days I'll wake up and *NOT* want somebody to chop off my head. Maybe. ;-D
