Well, since we're very good with this whodunnit thing, I decided to launch this little game here.
It's pretty simple. I am someone (person, cartoon, book character, whatever) and everyone else can have a guess at who I am.
The one who guesses it has the next round, and we'll try to guess on him/her.
I hope this works. :-)
To start, I'll give you all one hint: I'm a real person.

Tiberius? Only Caesar I can think of who died of natural causes (unless you believe Robert Graves). Though I suppose he was betrayed, by Sejanus.

No, not Tiberius. I don't believe Robert Graves although I adore his books about Claudius. If I did, I wouldn't have said that this particular Caesar died of natural causes. Didn't Graves say something about figs? :)

Ah. How could I have forgotten? :)

Augustus?

Yes, it's Augustus. Born a simple Gaius Octavius, he changed his name to Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus after Caesar adopted him in his will and made him his heir. But he is best known as Rome's first emperor, Augustus.

Congratulations, Cordy, who's next?

Is the novel a one-off?

Has it been made into a film or anything else or has the character been portrayed elsewhere?

Is the author European, Asian, Pacifica, Africa or American?

Is the novel for young adults or adults?

Is he the main character? Is he a supporting character or the baddie?

Was the novel written in the 18th, 19th, 20th or 21st century? Is the author a man or a woman?

The novel is a one-off.

It has been dramatised in film several times, on TV several times, and made into a musical.

The author was a European man. The novel was written in the 19th century and is for adults.

The character is the baddie.
