Well, since we're very good with this whodunnit thing, I decided to launch this little game here.
It's pretty simple. I am someone (person, cartoon, book character, whatever) and everyone else can have a guess at who I am.
The one who guesses it has the next round, and we'll try to guess on him/her.
I hope this works. :-)
To start, I'll give you all one hint: I'm a real person.

Did he die more than 1000 years ago? 1500? 2000?

Was he Roman? Was he betrayed? Was he Julius Caesar? If it wan't him, then was he Greek? Was he killed(ooh), or did he die of natural causes (boo)?

Yes, he was Roman, and he was called "Julius Caesar" afterwards (among other names) , but it was not his original name. Sorry to disappoint you, but he did die of natural causes such as old age :). No, he wasn't betrayed and didn't have to say "Et tu Brute".

He is:

1. Dead
2. European
3. Politician
4. Royal
5. Died more than 500 years ago
6. Died (almost) 2000 years ago
7. Roman
8. Called "Julius Caesar" among other names
9. Died of natural causes

He is not:

1. Fictional
2. Author
3. Actor
4. Singer
5. Scientist
6. Explorer
7. Composer
9. Philosopher
10. Greek
11. Betrayed
12. Killed

Tiberius? Only Caesar I can think of who died of natural causes (unless you believe Robert Graves). Though I suppose he was betrayed, by Sejanus.

No, not Tiberius. I don't believe Robert Graves although I adore his books about Claudius. If I did, I wouldn't have said that this particular Caesar died of natural causes. Didn't Graves say something about figs? :)

Ah. How could I have forgotten? :)

Augustus?

Yes, it's Augustus. Born a simple Gaius Octavius, he changed his name to Gaius Julius Caesar Octavianus after Caesar adopted him in his will and made him his heir. But he is best known as Rome's first emperor, Augustus.

Congratulations, Cordy, who's next?
