Heimlich VonVictor steps forward, a pink wig on his head, a smile on his aged face. He steps forward to the podium, taps the mic, and breathes once.

"Welcome one and all! Welcome, welcome! To the first annual Sleuth Noir Hunger Games!"

The crowd lets out a sigh.

"As you know," Heimlich continues, "two detectives from each agency (up to twelve participating) will be selected as tribute to compete against each other for the title of Hunger Games Champion!"

If you would like for your agency to compete in the first annual Sleuth Noir Hunger Games, please put your name in! The first twelve agencies to volunteer will receive a spot. Two detectives will be selected at the reaping to compete, of course, volunteers are always welcome.

Oh my goodness! That certainly is funny- I was absolutely sure that the complications in the last contest were with dear Arctic Blast. I rather heard next-t0-nothing about Vampirion except the stray coincidence noted here and there. Oh well. Its no matter. I'm sure its quite difficult to keep track of these things.

It surely is a great shame that we won't see Vampiric Crypt participating in this contest. With such notedly spirited detectives in the community, I'm sure it would only add to the excitement of the games. Perhaps at a later point, when cooler heads prevail we will see the one-of-a-kind scintillating intrigue your agency members seem to bring with them to spice up our otherwise plain community activities. Until then...let the games begin.

And we have a change in the rules. From now on, anyone may volunteer individually, until the 24 contestants have been selected.

I volunteer as tribute, as a member of the Vidoq Society, if they chose to participate (I'm quite sure they are in favor of the idea), and if not, as an individual.

Out of curiosity...is this still happening? I know there is much excitement with the nemisis hunts, but I would love to see this still taking place!

It's going to be on hold for now. Unfortunately we don't have as much participation and I'd anticipated, and I don't know if we'd get the community activity we'd need to have an active contest. So this can be unstickied.
