Mob history is to be made tonight, and you are along for the ride.

Sonny Capellini, The La Cosa Nostra boss of the Brooklyn area and a few of his closest compatriots were found dead in his home two nights ago, victims of blasts from sawed-off shotguns. Fuggheddaboudit. Theories suspect rival Emil "The Butcher" Bocelli, a higher-up with no small means at his disposal. Emil wanted to assume his place as the top man in the Brooklyn outfit.

However, the Santanelli's have cracked open the books and are hesitant to appoint the wild-card Bocelli, for fear they might have trouble from him later on down the line. They favor Jimmy "Legs" Tarabotti, a well-respected mobster who has no beef against the Santanelli's. However, La Cosa Nostra isn't about to lose more manpower over this.

Jimmy "Legs" Tarabotti has been sent for, and if he makes it to the meeting in a warehouse on 34th tonight at midnight, he will assume the mantle of the entire Brooklyn outfit. If he doesn't make it, the outfit goes to Bocelli.

You are a close-knit crew of Tarabotti's supporters, but word on the street is that Bocelli bribed a few of his men to the other side. Its possible, with their sabotage, that Tarabotti will be dead far before midnight. Only the final strike of the clock will tell.

Once the team members send me their actions, I will post the results of the mission. You will know if the mission succeeded or failed, and you will know what the actions were, but you will NOT know who chose what action; they will be revealed at random.

After the mission results, a new round starts with a new leader and so on and so forth until either 3 missions succeed or 3 missions fail.

The name of the game is information and MISinformation. The resistance is trying to figure out who the spies are, so that missions don't get sabotaged. The spies are trying everything they can to avoid detection, so that they can be chosen and sabotage missions.

You may talk about ANYTHING on the message boards involving the game. However, if information comes to you from me in a PM, it is YOUR CHOICE what to do with that information. You can keep it to yourself, you can be honest, or you can lie.

YOU MAY NOT PM OTHER PLAYERS ABOUT THE GAME! All discussion must take place here in the message board so that everyone is privy to it. Spies can NOT talk privately about strategy! The only PMs sent regarding the game should be to or from me, as the game master.

Mission 2: Four Team Members
Mission 3: Four Team Members
Mission 4: Five Team Members**
Mission 5: Five Team Members

** This mission requires TWO sabotage votes for the mission to fail.

Mission 1: The Pick-Up

The time is nearing to pick up Jimmy "Legs" Tarabotti from his safe-house. So far, only those trusted members of his team have been given access to his hide-out in an effort to prevent Emil Bocelli and his goons from doing him in before the big night. Any bad eggs on the crew could leak the address to Bocelli and cause a firefight, so he only wants three operatives to accompany him on this leg of the journey. The rest will meet him at a rendezvous point.

Jimmy has placed a call to his man Secret_Squirrel: Its time for the pick-up. Who will you choose to safely escort the big boss?

Secret_Squirrel, you are the Leader for mission 1. You have three role cards to distribute as you see fit, and are also responsible for electing the first mission team of three members.

Secret_Squirrel, please distribute the following among the players:

TAKE RESPONSIBILITY- (the player who gets this card must use it immediately) The Player must take a role card from another player.

STRONG LEADER- The player may use this card to become the leader for a round. You may only use this before the current leader has performed an action.

NO CONFIDENCE- The player may play this card after a successful vote to cause it to fail, forcing a leadership change.

Secret_Squirrel, please distribute these abilities and propose the first mission team (3 operatives).

This game is confusing and I really don't think
that my choices are sound, they're quite on the brink.

For I think that I know how this game just might go,

She's quiet and crafty, but I don't think a spy,

I don't like her style, I think it's too slick,
but she's not likely to play out her hand and be caught
so that skill should be safe, well I think... so I thought.

So I'm lead to believe that Skill 1 I must use, [doh]
and for better or worse one of two I abuse.
Good advice tells me that I was mistaken
That the no confidence skill I should have taken.
So as much as I love you, nic, I'm taking your skill
I'm sure that you'll read into this, some kind of ill-will.
Your spreadsheet no doubt has just gone into red
And voices are arguing deep in your head.
But I'm only learning, and feeling my way
I'd like you to help me, please say what you'll say.
