It is rumored that the ornate palace gates of Shangri-La have finally been opened to the public for the first time in known history. The Prince is making his debut into the public eye with a brilliant gala hosted by the Prince himself: an exclusive invitation-only event attended only by the most prominent and affluent people from countries all over the world.

Some commoners have been invited to this rare event--but not as guests. The Prince's most trusted advisor has particularly collected special operatives to patrol the event: the world's brightest, swiftest, and most skilled. You will be entrusted with making sure that everything goes off without a hitch. But there are those who would rather see the event go down in flames, along with the Prince himself.

Five minutes before the event is scheduled to start, a report of a most alarming nature reaches the operatives' ears. There has been a breach in the ranks. Some spies have infiltrated the group! But since they have never seen each other's faces, there is no way to tell whose allegiance is true. The team has been compromised, but there is still a chance to save the evening.

The operatives' job this evening is to make sure the Prince's gala goes off without a hitch. If he is pleased at the end of the night, they will be rewarded handsomely. Sources say he is forgiving of small mishaps, but when pushed too far...

The Prince's reputation is at stake. Will his gala be a phenomenal success, or will it succumb to the sabotage of the spies? Stay tuned to find out in this installment of The Resistance.

It's a hard choice Nicnic, but your reasoning is logical. If this'll allow us to win this mission, we are 2-0 in front. I'd certainly advice Adam to use his card on either Molly or me (Although I voted yes already, which I dare to say here) and maybe you can use your card in case something bad happens. But rest assured, I voted yes. If it fails because Adam doesn't trust me still, that'd be a sad day for the Resistance, seeing the next leader's up for a nice mission...

I think we have to approve this mission considering we are going into no man's land in the line up and I really don't know what the next three will propose as a team.

Didnt jay vote YES on that mission, and then turn around and use no confidence? Correct me if im wrong there. I think he voted yes to look resistance but then used no confidence to avoid another win against the spies. Seriously why vote yes and then use no confidence?

Can someone explain that? And 3 spies voted yes to that. I felt very good about that team proposal and Vulkie- i voted yes on this mission of yours and i hope i wasnt wrong. Nic you make perfect sense that last team of Adam's was set up to be fool proof. I know im resistance, i trust Nic and Molly, and Nic vouches for Adam, so honestly if i go with the assumption that Myself, Nic, Molly, Adam and possibly Vulkie are resistance that leaves the possible spies at:

Jay - Im 100% Convinced a spy
Andi - Implicated through Jay
Biggie - Shes the only one who voted NO on a sure mission. Suspicious.
Kagome - Too soon to tell
Andrew - Too Soon to tell

Yes nic im also uneasy about the next few team leaders, The spies are voting cleverly to avoid being outed yet. Adams team was a sure thing when you consider the cards you guys have. Seriously Jay voting YES on a mission just to turn around and use no confidence, maybe im just being my usual idiotic self and not getting it but that makes NO sense at all. Especially if i WERE i spy, which im not, i would have been FORCED to vote sucsess on that mission thanks to adam. It was a SURE thing. Why use no confidence unless you're a spy and you didnt want the resistance getting a 2-0 lead over you? Now Jay wants us to doubt this next mission so it'll get voted down and the next team leader is....Kagome, then Andrew, Then Andi, i dont know about Kagome or Andrew but its really like nic said, no mans land.

Also Holy Crap im posting multiple replies about my theories. Ive caught the crazy! :O

The fact that jay/serges stated point blank hes voting No on Vulkies team leads me to think we should vote this through.

I'm getting the feeling at this moment we might *almost* be worth pushing through mission proposals. There is so little info at the moment as to who could be a spy that the chance to see how people vote on different setups might give out some valuable insights.

Yeah adam seeing how people vote is valuable, but not at the expense of handing the spies a win. Just sayin'.

I follow nicnics logic...its a shame that the last mission was no-confidenced. Although the votes were alarming, we had somewhat of a deadlock on figuring out who did what between the cards/abilities we were equipped with. At this point we have nothing better to go on. I'm going to vote yes on this mission, because I'm comfortable with adam, nicnic and I together. I can be checked and vulkie can be checked by either or. This is really the best strategy we have to go on.

Jason, to answer your question about voting yes and then using NO CONFIDENCE, I think I did that twice in the first game. Basically I did it to vote yes (in case I was the swing vote) see how the voting came out and then had the ability to veto it. If I thought it looked OK then the mission goes through. If something looked weird I knew I could veto it.

We also have to remember that Molly has STRONG LEADER, so if she is resistance and we get ourselves into a bind, Molly can take over as leader for a fifth mission.

Also Adam, just to make sure you are aware of this, if five consecutive mission proposals are voted down, the spies automatically win. So the Resistance has to approve the fifth mission proposal no matter what. Which is somewhat what is making me uneasy about voting this one down. The next three on the list are kind of unknown and I don't know if I can trust that we will get a better line up than this one (with our powers and having the first mission succeed with at least three of us on the team.

And Jason... in this mission, even if Adam uses IN THE SPOTLIGHT on someone, if they are a spy they will probably have to sabotage and out themselves anyway because it's going to be hard for the spies to win if they are down by 2 at this point.

Nic i see your point but i still find it odd because that last mission was kind of win-win for anyone whos resistance, if there HAD been a sabotage (which would have been unlikely since i believe everyone on that last proposal including myself is resistance) but if there HAD been a sabotage it would have revealed one spy. And its not a smart strategy for a spy to win an early mission at the cost of their cover being blown. And thats whats so suspicious because the spies here are voting cleverly and waiting to either get missions voted down for an automatic win, OR theyre waiting for those last 3 team proposals to pull in for a win. It gets harder as the missions go on, needing 1 sabotage to needing 2. Either way i hope this mission is spy-free and passes, id feel better about whos next on the player order if we have a 2-0 lead over the spies.

You know there really isnt any excuse as to why i was such a bad spy. I guess i possibly just suck at this game in general. Its much harder being resistance. At least the spies know who is who. :/
