Hey all :) Bored today and was thinking about all the cool stuff I would love to see implemented in the game to make it better and more interesting.

Wouldn't it be cool to have a place to have the VH clues so you don't have to worry about missing one or running out of bio space to post them?

I'm curious what everyone else would want if anything were possible. What would you like to see in Sleuth?

(Maybe Ben is listening! ha)

Opening up Cairo for TH's would be neat :)

To open Caito for THs is a nice idea but with many side effects.
Competitive agencies will no longer accept newbies as they cannot travel to Cairo and slowly newbies will not be able to join and have fun with treasure hunts

Vampirion, here's an idea that could work:

Cairo can be the start city for a treasure hunt, but won't come up in any other multi-city hunts. Solves the newbie disadvantage problem.

I don't see Cairo as being a problem for TH's. You do go to more than one city in a Multi city, so there is still a lot a newbie can help with when Thing.

Great ideas so far guys. Let's hope Ben is nudged to take a look at this thread.

My Scholar Vampirion is right. Cairo as a city is forbitten for many detectives as they have no access to it no matter if it is the starting or middle or ending city in a TH. Take you as an example Cristopher....can you travel to Cairo? No my friend!
Another disadvantage of Cairo is that there are no organisations to initiate a TH there.
The final outcome would be that many competitive agencies will move to Cairo (as Cairo offers many advantages that other cities do not offer)and newbies will be xcluded from treasure hunts and all those agencies that will move there (we know that the only reason we don't move to Cairo is because no THs are around!) progresively

I believe this thread is to suggest ideas, not pick apart the ideas of others.

And on that note, as I said before, great ideas so far, keep the ideas coming.

*clears throat and steps on soap box* As the fair Lady Jas has said, this thread is for suggesting new ideas, not picking apart others' suggestions. Maybe since the VC is so clever at attacking others' ideas, we could begin picking apart their ideas? Oh wait. We can't/ They haven't suggested any. *looks innocently at the vampires* Would any of you like to suggest a flawless improvement that has absolutely no draw backs or complications? We're all waiting with bated breath. *bats eyelashes and steps off soap box*

There's no harm in fleshing ideas out. Even if it is just for fancy.

The thing I'd really like to do, and have never been able to con / cajole/ coerce Ben into doing, is to make agencies look more like apartments. *coughs* we ended up doing it for Shades and it does make Agencies feel a lot more like a building than a set of links.

Oh I'd also like a Sleuth car, but would settle for a pony.

Alright now lets stay civil and remember we're all friends and love this game please. Amber please dont lets antagonize the situation here.

A peaceable solution could be that Cairo *could* be opened to TH's but it would be a single city hunt that could ONLY be opened in Cairo, therefore newbies would not have to worry about not having access as only agencies WITH access would be the only ones there to open said hunt. On another note, why not make a couple of new treasures that are Cairo only?

Does everyone agree on this solution? Undead and alive?

I still say a sleuth fair would be kinda fun. :D
