Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

"But the way you did it, you shouldn't be able to stand a chance, unless people forget that getting 2 spies in a team at the beginning would be a very stupid move on the spies' part."

Also, it LOOKS like a stupid move, which is what Serges was counting on. He had a HUGE advantage by being the first to go, and then when you two used the cards on each other, it was a no brainer to identify each other as Resistance. Genius really.

you can't count on other people. thats why is a stupid move So to the countrary, it's you who thinks everyone can believe you without you backing it up.

I have as much backup as you guys do. My word is the same as anyone else's. And I don't think my moves have proven otherwise. I've explained myself at every step of the way.

No your explanations were contradicting with what you said. In fact you said so yourself.

When did I do that? Show me!

The only thing I said is that the first couple missions I voted down because I wanted to see how the voting lines went. I also posted my mission lineup because I shot my wad early (so to speak) because I got overexcited, and then I voted AGAINST that very mission because I knew I made a mistake.

Our two posts. Anyone who really doubts this situation should read it and your posts before that.

I'd like to see where you find these posts. Because everything I've done and explained makes total sense to me and wasn't questioned by anyone at the time.

Eden, just give it up already. You're talking yourself in circles because you can't keep it all straight. Oh what a tangled web we weave...

If that's not pretty solid evidence, I don't know what is.

Oh I questioned it insistently at the time and those are the dates and times of the posts I am talking about.

I'll give up when you give up. You avoided nearly all the questions we asked saying stuff like "it was wrong, i admit it etc etc."

like "oh im sorry i chose this team cause I wanna know who spies are" as if you have been given a card. lol

that's lying big time.

I was wrong once. I admitted it, and voted against the mission I proposed incorrectly.

And I voted no in the beginning to the first couple of missions because I wanted to see how the votes played out, not because it meant I would KNOW who the spies were.

Either a) you've completely misunderstood me (which is a fair guess because I can be kind of confusing), or b) you're trying to assign motivations to me that don't exist.

Seeing that you're a spy, I have to think b is probably the right option there. And fine, that's part of the game to try to throw people off your trail. Unfortunately, I think that's backfired on you this time. All your protesting does is make you look more guilty, and you can't come up with a cohesive argument as to why you're not except that "Serges says so".

I've said it before and I'll say it again. One of the many reasons I love Serges so is BECAUSE he's a sneaky weasel. And he's made you his pawn.

I almost feel sorry for you. Except for the dirty spy part ;)
