Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

I think if I weren't Resistance I would probably be lauding some great point about why Serges, Illicit, and Eden were in cahoots and select a completely different team. Which is possible but I feel unlikely. If we have underestimated them that much, I think they probably deserve to win, lol.

Although it makes me really nervous that Eden keeps giving points on exactly who you should be suspicious of if this mission fails. That was something I made a note of in the mission with Helen...but maybe he's just covering all his bases. I'm going to proceed with a yes on my mission.

Lol Molly, I think I'm bored of explaining my line of thinking. Let me tell you this: The contents of my posts aren't intended to be written exclusively, they follow one another.

One needs to employ laws of logic in this game and that's all I've been trying to do. Now if you think whatever I said about Helen or any other player isn't based on any reasoning, you are wrong because I had made tons of explanations, and have taken the time to appreciate the fact that what I was saying is just a possibility, however a very likely one.

If you have anything to refute them, you're welcome to do so. I'd like to use any instrument if it's going to improve the way I tend to think.

P.S. I wish as skilled at this language as is a native speaker, but I am not, hence the long posts :)

In this game, I'm resistance. If you think I'm not, prove it. :)

So far, I've been sitting quietly in the background, observing all of you and your behavior, just like a creeper. Since I find this usually tells me the most. I've heard Serges's logic and I agree with his thinking. So I've been voting as he has suggested so far, to try to confirm my suspicions. I'll be restating some stuff and skipping over other stuff that was already said.

My conclusion: I believe the spies in this game to be Ms Helen, Jason Arends, biggie528, and M. Lacrimosa.

Jason and Ms. Helen have already been found out. Completely. Skipping ahead.

M. Lacrimosa: This time around, when he was accused of being a spy, his reaction on the boards was rather different than from in the previous game (which I also followed). Instead of getting angry this time, he tries to play it off, which leads me to believe he is a spy. Also because I know Marc and frankly, I can read him like a book. I was also incredibly suspicious of why he would vote to approve Jason's mission when it so clearly had at least one spy on it.

Biggie: Her behavior this time around was also different. She was no longer as adamant about not being a spy. Changes such as these catch my eye. Also, Biggie's team proposal was very suspicious. Why would she pick two players whose allegiance was unknown, in addition to her own? So she also had to vote no to her own proposal along with everyone else. She wanted another team proposal rejected, for the benefit of the spies.

You may have noticed that the above is mostly based on observation rather than gameplay. As such, you are completely free to disregard everything I have said. As an English major, most of what I do involves analyzing characters and their actions. Let's see if this works in real life also. I will now step quietly back into the shadows for the rest of the game.

Riza, Riza, Riza....

I can explain my actions; its up to you to believe it.I got angry last game for no apparent reason to be honest. Then i realized. It's just a game. No need to get angry over a game. Everybody grew suspicious when I voted yes, but that doesn't make me a spy. Remember, Molly voted yes too. I just made a rookie mistake.
