Once again, turmoil is brewing in the underground crime world of New York. The city is slowly being taken over by La Cosa Nostra, the New York underground mafia. They are recruiting members at record numbers and they can be seen in every night club and bar scaring away customers. And now Joseph Hollis, the High Philosopher of the Order of Socrates, and mayor of New York, has learned of a secret plan by his rival faction, La Cosa Nostra, to go on a crime spree and make off with money, valuables, and ultimate control of various establishments in New York.

Mr. Hollis, being not only concerned with the livelihoods of the patrons of his city, but also with his rival faction gaining too much power, has decided to put together a team of trusted Order of Socrates resistance operatives to foil the plans of La Cosa Nostra. Unfortunately, there has been a lot of attrition lately, and certain people have been going to the highest bidder to offer their services as a spy working from within the Order of Socrates. Joseph is aware of this and he's put together the best possible team he can think of, but unwittingly will be inviting some spies for La Cosa Nostra to his team of operatives.

As long as the loyal Order of Socrates operatives can figure out whom amongst them is untrustworthy, their mission should be a success. But if they trust the wrong people, La Cosa Nostra will succeed and cause severe damage to the New York economy, while gaining enough power to take over the city.

Will the mayor and his team be able to restore order to New York? Or will the underground mafia, take over the city's resources? That's for you to decide in this version of The Resistance: Order of Socrates Restores Order

The results of the vote on Biggie's MISSION 3 Proposal are in.

Biggie proposed a team of:
- Molly Maltese
- Eden Zweig
- Cekuray
- biggie528

This mission proposal has been REJECTED by a vote of 10-0.

The next leader in the list is Molly Maltese. Molly may now make her proposal for MISSION 3, TEAM 3.

Molly, just so you're aware, we're in a bit of a lurch. Jason (spy) has "No Confidence", which he can use to reject a mission vote. 5 in a row and the spies win. We're already 2 rejected votes into the round. Illicit is after you, and Resistance, so he may bloody well reject hers, assuming yours is voted down. Then, we HAVE to approve whatever mission Marc proposes or lose the game.

You need to put together a solid team. That team has to include me, Eden, and Illicit for sure, or resistance players might reject it, causing the above snowball effect.

Remember, whoever you pick as the 4th, I can make them play their mission card in public. :)

So, I nic-ed out for a bit and made a huge list of Facts As I Know Them, but what it boils down to is this. I know I'm Resistance. I know I'm Resistance cause I'm having absolutely no fun being a good guy. -_- The Yes on the last mission was because I honestly haven't been paying attention, and ya'll wanted an answer.

Either Eden and Serges are playing the best damn game I've ever seen, or I can trust them to be Resistance too. Illicit is confirmed to be such. I'm going with my gut on this, that they are also Resistance.

However, I already shot myself in the foot through honestly not paying attention. Illicit voiced it herself. 'Im not comfortable with someone who voted Yes on the last mission. ' This is a fair point. So, even though I'm Resistance, I can't convince ya'll of that with nothing. It looks suspicious.

SO in my eyes- with the assurance of Serges being able to make the fourth play their card in public, the most beneficial thing to do would be to not put myself on the team with the knowledge that it would be highly suspect and voted down, resulting in the waste of a really good resistance lineup, and to select one person we could probably bring to light through this round.

I think Jason is a spy. I'm suspicious of Marc. Biggie, I'm on the fence about. Maybe its because she is my bigz, but I'm going to give her a redeeming chance. DONT LET ME DOWN, IF YOURE A FILTHY SPY IM GOING TO KICK YOU IN THE FACE.

That being said, my mission proposal is:

Serges
Eden Zwieg
Illicit
Biggie528

Molly has made her mission proposal.

Mission 3, Team 3

Team Leader: Molly Maltese
Team Proposal: Biggie, Eden Zweig, Serges, Illicit

It is now again time for the rest of the team to vote to either approve or reject this mission proposal.

Because both Cekuray and Ms Helen have the OPINION MAKER, they must post their votes here on the message board, as opposed to PMing me. You may wait to vote until these are posted.

When you do vote, please send me a PM stating "Mission 3, Team 3: YES or NO"

Biggie is a major wild card here, for reasons that have been explained ad nauseum above. But, so is basically anyone else Molly could have put on the team, including herself. (Except Jason and Helen)

I think we need to let this mission pass, if for no better reason than to avoid backing ourselves in a corner with too many rejections in a row.

I still have some power (thanks Eden!), so either the mission will succeed, or we will know that Biggie is a spy. Both are good for the Resistance, because the spies will find it almost impossible to win , even up 2-1, if we have confirmed 3 of them.

My thoughts exactly. Anyone we picked as the fourth would be a wild card, there would be pros and cons "he's too quiet, she's too loud, she could have done this, he could have done that..." We have no concrete proof other than the implications of Helen and Jason. I think we need to either add to the Resistance or the Spy list, and singling someone out like this is really the only way to do it.

Voting no and will do for any team that has Eden, Serges or both on :)

I voted yes for this one. I presume that Jason/Serges will play his card on Biggie so her mission card will be public. If the mission doesn't succeed at that point then I will presume that Eden and Serges are spies. Let's see what happens.
