I recently found an awesome party/social game called "The Resistance" that my friends and I love to play. The premise is very similar to games like "mafia" and "werewolf"; you have a group of players, in which some of them are working against the group and have knowledge the others don't.

In "The Resistance", you are basically members of an underground organization known as "The Resistance" attempting to destroy the establishment. However, among you there are counter-agents, or "Imperial Spies" who are working to sabotage your efforts. The spies know who they are, as well as who else is a spy, but will for all intents and purposes appear to be working toward the goals of the Resistance.

The game takes place over a series of 5 "missions". The Resistance is trying to complete 3 missions successfully, while the spies are attempting to sabotage 3 missions. First one to 3 wins.

Well, I re-read. (Do you people have any idea how many pages and pages of hypothesis we've accumulated? And then Serges posts are just nestled in there somewhere, haha. )So, Jason played the strong leader card...thereby placing him in the spotlight. And, put himself on the team (Not Danny Mack (or Don Cheadle)- forehead slap-) Is it plausible that he would stick his neck that far out to sabotage?

Of that mission, I am convinced of Cek and Nic over Illicit in all honesty. There are of course some doubts, as with everyone but that would have been a very strong, aggressive front on both of their parts to be carried on unflinchingly throughout the game- and since neither of them have played before, I'm more convinced of them. Then Illicit offered her rejoinder

"Well I feel at this point nothing I can say will convince anyone of my innocence. All I will say is that having played this before...the only thing anyone on the Resistance side can be sure of is their own allegience."

which seemed rather unimpassioned. Kinda resigned. That more than anything is kind of indicative, at least to me. I'm pretty darned certain of my suspects.

However I agree that Nic should have the card.

I'm sorry, I should have clarified. I meant that, I'm sure you're Resistance. You can't ignore the writing on the wall, and theres an awful lot of writing surrounding Illicit.

Guys- for the record, spy or not i remain Captain Clueless.

I can follow the story of serges fine when it comes to missions and voting but seriously pages and pages of theories and accusations and more theories and honestly im confused as i can possibly be reading all this.

Is it time to vote? What am i voting on?

My head hurts.

We are still waiting on Danny Mack to assign the two abilities she received, as well as propose the mission make-up. Officially, that is where we stand for now. Everything else is people discussing theories, speculation, etc. which is wholeheartedly encouraged.

Jay thank you for clearing that up for me. I love you guys but haha so much speculation. I think illicit was wrong to point out for sure only we know our own allegiance, except for the spies who do know each others identities.

And Biggie, am i handsome again?

The team:
Me (I know I am resistance)
Nic
Jay
Marc
Cek

Nic have the confindence card.
Molly can have the opinion card.

Resistance, if I have it wrong, I'm sorry. I think it would be easier to play this game as a spy.

I think the spies are Biggie, Molly and Cek. But we'll see...
