For a 'uber-hunt' reward how about offering up those pesky brass rings?

The Prince of Shangri-La could always provide a speedboat once the hunt was complete to allow you to get off the ship mid voyage :)

Something like that could work very well. When the AVH is solved a message would appear saying something like "The Prince was delighted that you found the co-conspirator and his envoys arranged for your quick departure by motorboat to continue tracking down (name of AV)". The following screen would simply take you to the next city in the hunt - the price of that journey being absorbed in the (rather high even for the 1920s/30s) Sleuthetania costs?

As mentioned above, an Uber Hunt would have to be something to which individual detectives could opt in. So why not plan say one per month, beginning on set dates that are pre-announced? Perhaps these hunts would have to start on board the ship in order to fit in with sailing times. This should make it easier for Admin to organise (?) People who want to take part could simply travel to Shangri La at the correct time and select the option 'Accept Uber Villain Hunt' (or whatever it might be termed). They would then, as normal, have to travel from the train station - but to whichever departure point the ship is sailing from (NY or Shanghai).

This format could also lend itself very well to tournament style play.
