Wow....I've read through some of my old post, and this old shoe wants to apologize for a lot of my messages. I rambled a lot, and didn't make sense sometimes. When I first joined Sleuth, I was on several medications, that must have affected my thinking, and I didn't realize it. I'm truly embarrassed to even come back and play this game. Thanks for putting up with me and for being such good friends, during that time that I was suffering from much pain and sickness. Thankfully, I'm doing great today.

PS: Just told my spouse about this and he laughed and said: "Tell them you really aren't a mental case," and hey guys...I promise I'm not...LOL.

heh I'm not sure if it's a testimony to the state of the other players or that really there's nothing to apologise for, but either way I don't think anyone really noticed :D rambling is a preoccupation in Noir, why just the other day I was walking down the street and I came across this shiny 20c piece and I thought to myself wow if I had a 20c piece for every time I found a 20c piece well that would... err yeah ...

LOL....I couldn't make up my mind if I wanted to tuck-tail and run, or come back as someone new and start from scratch, but then I thought: "Dang...that is mental", so I decided to be brave and take a peek for any responses..... (Daru.....gives a sigh of relief).... glad I did. Thanks guys for the boost of courage. Good to know Lady Jas, I'm still loved, and Secret Squirrel, I don't feel so alone.......hehe!

Synesence....the truth of the matter is, I'm just a BIG worry wart. I do this in real life. However, to clarify my statement above, I had placed post where they didn't belong, and some of my messages, was rambling on and on about nothing important, and probably boring everybody to tears. Guess you might say back then....that I didn't have close friends to burn their ears, so.....I burned everybodies here...LOL. It was great having this game to make friends and chat online with. Other than my great love for this game, I have truly enjoyed my pals here. Oh....I will add that for a long time we haven't had cable/high speed internet service where we live (by the lake), so I couldn't play, but when I did return, I found I was retired......ouch!....It cost me a bundle to re-activate myself but, hey .....it's worth it Looks like you guys are stuck with this old shoe....LOL:)

Oh, so that's how it is. No problems, glad to have you back. And there's no such thing as rambling as long as someone goes through the trouble of reading all of it...
...Maybe most of it...
...Okay, some of it...
...A quick glance counts.

So yes, I tend to 'ramble' as well, but it's considered sane in my situation....

See...My imaginary friends are real...I have Bob, Bill, and a rabbit that talks about cheese all day long. I tend to kick the rabbit into a state of hypomania...Some say I was the creative genius behind the energizer bunny...But Bob and Bill are great peop--things, they always make me laugh when they dance around in their little oompa-loompa outfits as I fire bullets at their feet...Did I mention the rabbit?

Relax DaRu, we're just glad to have you back! This community needs people such as yourselves, we're all so much fun to talk to!

By the way, my imaginary friends only come out to play when I suffer from lack of sleep...Which explains why they're out now...3 days playing Red Dead Redemption without stopping...Worth it? Yes. Healthy? Arguable. Fun? Definitely!

.....What were we talking about again?

I think we're all suffering from a lack of sleep these days...I'm suffering from a mild case of mania and have just run outside in the cold for 30 minutes straight.

I feel so better now, and by better, I mean tired, and by tired, I mean lethargic, and by lethargic, I mean sick, and by sick, I really mean sick. Learned my lesson today. Going to learn to exhaust all my energy by other means...

Maybe a sugar crash would do good for me...With some onions and....

Senescence & Elapidae, I can relate to the lack of sleep, and your imaginary friends. You’ve inspired me to share this…..and it’s hilarious. This Moonlighting Dilettante, as so I am called here, use to play by the light of the moon, all night, every night, for at least a couple of years. This was during the time my spouse (who was also Texan in this game), use to work nights. There were mornings Texan came home and found me slumped over my keyboard drooling…LOL. Now, this story gets worse……and I hate to admit it. One night while solving a case, (and keep this in mind that my little Yorkshire Terrier always slept at my feet while I was on the computer) I fell asleep, and as I was falling out of my chair, I awoke with a jolt. I frantically reached for my desk to brace myself from falling, my hand knocked off my keyboard, which went flying through the air and hit my Yorkie on the head. He jumped up from his deep slumber yelping as if he’d been shot. Well, talk about feeling a boost of energy, I was good to go. Like you shared Synesence, I should have stopped and took a cold shower or something, dang…..I almost killed my dog. Now, to end this story and to ….top it off. There were a couple of nights while solving cases that my mind went into a state of trance, or what you might say I was a “Dead Girl Playing-------or ------Brain Temporarily Out of Order.“ Just about the time I was fixing to click on a suspect that I knew that was guilty, my mind went into one of those modes. Later I awoke to find to my horror that I had clicked on the wrong suspect. Yep…..you guessed it……..one with a Real Alibi…LOL. Now, would you call that being a dedicated player, or just downright stupid for not going to bed? Anyway, thinking back on those good ole days, I guess I have a good excuse for some of the rambling…ha! There’s no telling what I posted while being semi-conscious…LOL! So, I’m sure there are others who have great tails to tell. Come on……don’t be shyJ

I had to switch to a new laptop just recently due to keys missing from my previous laptop. I can't tell you how many times I've smashed the keyboard simply because a suspect wasn't cooperative with me, and I hate nothing more than quitting a case. Matter of fact, I hate seeing that number go up on my profile page, I don't know why do we even have it sitting there.

Secret Squirrel, why is it there? I can understand False Accusations, but why Cases Quit? I lost almost half the alphabets on the previous laptop due to constant smashing...Okay, maybe not constant...Just 4 cases...

Okay, 5 cas-- Fine! It was 12! Just like that time when I felt like I went into a trance and just accused an innocent suspect without realizing what I had done till I saw that 'No, that's not correct.' page. Felt like I was possessed by a pissed-off Sleuth that wanted to have some fun.

But I'm happy now, the Macbook Pro is definitely a piece of art...Though I should say that suspects are clamming more easily on me than before, regardless of the odds...It's strange.
