Or maybe you've just had to pay Shady enough cash to finance a small war. Or reached screaming point with the tailor in Delhi. Or been pirated twice in a row. Or fallen into a trap three times running. You can share the woe, too, and we'll commiserate. We've probably been there too.

Me? I'm just happy that after two days' worth of 'south of the race track' I've finally got out of Shanghai :)

Cordy, the favor count doesn't reset when you leave to a new city.

I solve a favor for our hunt, just did 2 cases before turnover, and then travelled to Delhi, and did one case there and got a favor just fine.

My other agency mates did the same as me, and they got a favor as well.

now i just did a favour in london, travelled over to new york and only had to do 2 cases for next favour. hah - it seems almost random!

and snow in cairo would be so beautiful, so perfect.

That's odd - it's never worked that way for me. I usually leave a city after finishing a favour, and I always expect to have to do four cases in the next city before a favour shows up. Weird!

Mind you, the number of cases I play a day and how often I play both vary hugely, so it is possible that somewhere in there the explanation is lurking... :)

Mmm, it is odd. The whole favour business seems to be a little awry at the moment. For the most part it's: favour- 3 cases - another favour ... as usual. However, I'm finding that out-of the blue I will have to do four cases between favours - and that is without any travelling or quitting cases. Just now I completed a successful favour then 3 normal cases - no favour waiting. I completed a 4th normal case - still no favour. What is going on?

Things remain bizarre. I started today with 12 cases and was lying at a favour outstanding from yesterday. Cashed the favour and went on to solve everything else - no quits. Suddenly noticed that, after solving 3rd favour of the day, my 'cases remaining' (on the Case menu) was 5 not 6. Somewhere along the line a case was taken away! I'm wondering if this happens when you start the day with a favour from the previous day? I guess I will have to watch out for that.

my sleuth day ? i think it was alright 'cause i was able 2 solve 3 cases in a row. now that i know the game i wish i had started long ago!:(

aaaaargh - how was my sleuth day? till now real good on my avh. just about to move to final city - had got my 5 clues in cairo and found co-conspirator but........ after i selected fortune teller the little menu thing flicked back to coffee roaster and i had already pressed the button before i realised!!! n000 after all that hard work.

i know this thread is supposed to be for expressing joy but i am just gonna hijack it anyway to express pain :(

Drop-down menu agony! I can really sympathise on that one. Sometimes your mouse is really your enemy.

No way is this thread just for the good days. It's the bad days when you really need your fellow sleuths to rally round.

(Thought: you know how you get an "are you sure you want to accuse xxxx?" on normal cases - shouldn't you get the same thing in AV hunts?)
