I know that you get skill points after a case and that you use them to buy skills, but what do you do with experience?
There doesn't seem to be levels as in an rpg.

More experience means harder cases, more skill points (and therefore skills you can purchase), presumably more money as you go, better equipment as you do favors, the chance to go on certain special trips and assignments that lesser-downs cannot do (as in Arch Villain Hunts and the like), and eventually, a whole lotta braggin' rights.
