If a mod could sticky this I would appreciate it.

For the longest time many players have been reluctant to participate in Roleplay, because they don't know the history of other characters, and feel intimidated joining in. Indeed in can be quite the daunting task to step in with established roleplayers and try to create a story of your own while trying to maintain the stories of others.

In addition, many players who are just starting off don't wish to spend hours reading previous roleplays in order to understand the intricacies of the other characters around them.

That's where the wiki comes in. It will allow players to read a summary of each character to appear in a story, each story, each location, and their role in the stories in which they appear. The articles will identify a character's first appearance and current status within the universe.

As an added bonus, a photo of the respective character will be provided, so if the character is an NPC i.e. Richard Cambridge from Frame-Up, you can swing by his article to see the photo of the actor who he is modeled after.

Stories will also denote which other stories they are canonical with in the Noir universe. No Barnes About It may link with eight to ten different stories, while The J.Harlequin Debacle would likely only be considered in its own universe.

Special thanks to Anais Nin who has been a great contributor to the site so far and has not opened her mouth about the project, but I think it's time to allow the community to get on and really give life to this wiki. It is yours to create my friends :)

Heim, would it be possible for me to make a timeline of our RPs on the wiki? I know that comes up as a point of confusion every now and then.

Yes, absolutely. That's why you'll find dates next to the ones that I put in Heimlich's bio, but a timeline would be great.

It's been quite awhile that I've visited the Sleuth message boards, and of course, since I used to role play all the time, I always visit this section first.

Just thought I'd comment on what a great idea this role play wiki is! Awesome job :)
