Returning To Sleuth After 3 Year Hiatus

Hi everyone, Serena Siren here. I was pretty active on this board/cite between 2006-2007, but life got really hectic with school/work/etc. and I no longer had time for fun (only slightly exaggerating). Now that things have calmed down, I realized how much I miss the Sleuth community and I want to return. I logged back in for the first time and was pleasantly surprised to see that my account, my tiara, and my apartment were all still well...mine.

I'm just wondering who here might still remember me from so many years ago. Please stop by this message and say hello. What changes in the last few years must I absolutely check out first? And can anyone give me some links for some good case organizers, the one I used so long ago seems to be offline now. If possible, I would love links to organizers that do not solve the case automatically for you and that do not require you to download anything other than possibly an excel file.

Thanks so much, I look forward to reconnecting with the old guard and getting to know the new blood around here.

Serena

Hey welcome back. I guess I'm considered new blood here. >.> -> xD
I just posting to say that I use the Automated Sleuth Helper.

It's good to be back, I'm really enjoying "sleuthing" again.

i never use automatic helpers. the no. 2 cedar pencil and a piece of paper is all that was ever required in 1925. if this is now 1928 for you then drop the "helper" and find a matchbook somewhere on the table of the golden glow bar and solve your mysteries.

Thanks for the "advice" fishcake, but I do not want an automatic helper (just a case organizer - where I can keep track of suspects' names, alibi locations, and evidence info)...I don't want something to do the work for me, just something to keep me from using so much paper. I actually just use an excel spreadsheet to keep track of the info right now, it seems to work well for me. Happy sleuthing to you.
