Hi all!

I've got a contact in Shanghai, the Fish Monger. I've been trying to get the barber as a contact (but I havent quit other PE townie's favours), and my favour level is Incredibly Hard now. How long will it take for me to get my second one here?

I always assumed there's a 10% chance of getting a person as a contact on a favour. It makes me feel better.

Also, is it just me, or are PE heavily skewed towards being footprints?

All luck of the draw my friend. I've had cases where I've had 3 pieces of PE be a thread when the tailor is my PE contact and I've had 4 unknown footprints where the Shoe Maker doesn't answer a single question.

Can take three weeks *waves fist angrily at Sleuthania*. It does remember me of that time on the Sleuthania, getting my last contact (the PE one also). It was a horror....

But as Squirrel says, who knows how long it will take. It's up to you to do the cases and try to get your contact. Good luck indeed and indeed, it will happen!

Himlich - true, but it should average out. I've noticed a slight skew towards footprints.

It will average out eventually. That's just the fun of probability and statistics.

I'm sure I'd have noticed over the years if it really was skewed towards footprints, as two of my four PE contacts are footprint advisors.

Hmm, I should start collecting some data then. Best of luck for me.

Hahhahaa, it's not skewed towards anything, but I agree, sometimes it certainly feels like it's skewed towards whatever one doesn't have....! and then again one gets lucky with all the PE in your favor - but then all the suspects clam up!
What I picked up - I may be wrong? that if the higher the payout the more difficult the evidence? (I mean for the same type of case)
