Is it possible in an SM that the victim actually commited suicide?

Well you could write that, but you need a suspect to accuse. If you had someone commit another crime, such as trying to make the suicide look like a murder to avoid a suicide clause voiding a life insurance policy, you could make it work. Either that or you could have a second death that is a murder.

Good luck!

Yes, i think the sky is the limit, as long as it can be put through the online editor, everything works out, and that the story is logical in structure. Heim's suggestions are good. I guess the bottom line is that someone need to be correctly accused for a crime that he HAS committed. Of course, i'd wait for an editor to comment on this before I start etching the story in stone....

The sky is pretty much the limit with SMs. If you can make it work and its suitable for 13+ then sure go for it.

As far as a suicide case, you would need either someone else to accuse, difficult in a suicide case or have the the victim be able to show up on the suspects list to be able to accuse. Attempted suicide for example could potentially work because you would still be able to question the victim as a suspect or assisted suicide may work because you could accuse the person who helped.

If all else fails you could put the suicide story with another crime (someone commits suicide because he is suspected of the murder and you find out who the real murderer is etc)

Hope that makes sense :)
