Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

My vote will be a public one. I think I owe it to the both of you to know my vote and reasoning behind.

First let me congratulate you both on getting this far -we all know how hard it was with all of us vigorous competitors in it to win! I have enjoyed playing and competing with you both.

JZ, you indeed have been the exemplary player in all of this. No one can deny your skill, talent or investment in this competition, which I believe to be the greatest. Should you win, you will be a very deserving winner.

Riza, you have come this far, as you said, with your own graceful style and in your own beautiful way. You have worked very hard to place in the final two -no one can deny the amount of cases you did in that most horrid challenge earlier in the contest!

Having said that, I am basing my vote on sentiment and emotion rather than any kind logic â€"I’m afraid I've exhausted my lateral thinking and deductive logic abilities in this contest.

My vote goes to my friend, Riza. I have considered her to be a good friend ever since we were teamed together as the Ruthless Role-players and a ruthless role-player she is!

My apologies to Mr. Zeo, though I know many others will be giving you their votes.

*nods politely*

Woohoo! First off, thank you to everyone for all of your kind words both in PM's and on the board. I loved hosting it as much as you loved playing and watching. We have six votes in and no clear winner in sight! We've had quite a season. There have been the players you love, the players you hate to see go, and the players you just plain love to hate! Stay tuned for the conclusion! It promises to be one heck of a reveal!

First off let me reiterate what other have been saying and give out a big thank you to Heim for putting all of this together. The whole experience has been great fun and I am glad to have been a part of it.

This is a very tough decision as both members are equally deserving to win the coveted prize of Sleuth survivor. JZ has been unbelievable in all of his efforts both inside and outside of the Lenape tribe challenges. Has won the immunity challenges countless times and I believe that is why he is still here. That is not to say he would have been voted off due to being a bad player, but due to being a good player and would have met the same fate as Ms Helen and myself.

Riza on the other hand, has fought and battled her way through the entire contest. I have watched Riza grow from the beginning of her career here on Sleuth and blossom into a well known and respected player.

My vote for this competition goes to Riza for the perseverance and dedication that she has put into this contest. No hard feelings to JZ, if I could I would vote for both of you, but we all know that is not possible.

Best of Luck to the both of you as we await the rest of the votes.

First, I want to thank Heim for putting together such a fun, interesting, and mentally challenging contest. I had so much fun being a part of this, and I really can't believe it is over.

If I could, I would vote for everyone. :)

Kyle- I am so glad you were able to subscribe and I hope you are having a ball in your agency.

Tina- I don't know you very well, but I have enjoyed our few conversations, and wish you well.

TK- I'm sorry that you got out so early in the game, because I think you would of been a worthy competitor farther down the challenges.

Vulkie- It was fun having you in Lenape Tribe, and I enjoy writing with you.

Ms Helen- I'm not sure what I can say to you, other than you are awesome, and I hated seeing you go. ;)

ctown- You had lots of great ideas, and were a wonderful teammate and worthy competitor.

miss snopes- I didn't get to know you very well, but I enjoyed reading your intros and I am glad you came back.

Aknas- I loved reading all the praise you got on the Popularity Contest. You are all of what was said then.

Violet Parr- I am honored to have participated in this with you. You are a ledgend on the RP stage, and I always am happy when I see a PM from you in my mail. I hated voting for you.

Now, on to my actual vote. ;)

JZ- You are a wonderful friend, and I had so much fun being on Lenape Tribe with you, and writing on the stage, and hanging in Bar. You have done amazingly well in this contest.

Riza- You are kind, caring, funny, wicked, ever helpful, understanding, and one of the best friends I have ever had. You wouldn't of join this except I told you to go put your name on this thread, and you did, without asking why until later. You battled your way through, and have grown so much since the beginning of this contest. You are an amazing player, a wonderful director, and an absolutly AMAZING friend.

My vote goes to Riza Hawkeye.

Heimlich VonVictor stands before all twelve contestants in his khaki outfit and Panama hat. The twelve contestants glow in the firelight. Riza Hawkeye and Joseph Zeo sit close to the fire, their eyes showing the deep anticipation and anxiety the contest had caused. Was it finally over? The ten eliminated contestants sit stoically, knowing that their votes could not be changed now.

“Ladies and Gentlemen!” Heimlich says, “Welcome to the conclusion of Survivor Sleuthville! It’s been a tough contest to say the least, and without a doubt probably the longest one in the history of Sleuth Noir!”

At this the contestants let out groans of agreement.

“Jury members I’m glad to have you back here! I trust that the accommodations we made for you were comfortable after you left the island?” Heimlich says cheerfully.

“What accommodations?” ctown28 demands, “Security wouldn’t let me leave the parking lot! I’ve been sleeping in my car for four weeks now you cheap bastard!”

“Er…” Heimlich says as a hush falls over the crowd, “Let’s count up those votes!”

Heimlich walks over to the bucket. “Ladies and gentlemen, it’s all down to this.”

He reaches into the bucket and pulls out the first vote, “Joseph Zeo”

The crowd mutters among themselves as he reaches into the bucket again, “Riza Hawkeye”

The vote is now tied, everyone is on the edge of their seats as Heimlich draws again, “Riza Hawkeye”

Heimlich reaches in and pulls another name, “Riza Hawkeye”

Three for Riza and only one for Joseph Zeo? Had it really come in that way? Heimlich pulled another vote, “Joseph Zeo”

Two to three? Sweat drops down the contestants’ faces as they stare at their friends trying to gauge their reactions. Who had they voted for!? Heimlich reaches in yet again and pulls one from the bottom. It seems to have been folded numerous times over! He unfolds it and holds it up to the crowd, “Joseph Zeo”

There would be no landslide in either direction after all! Over halfway there and there was no majority! Without a doubt every single vote would count! Heimlich pulls another vote and holds it up. There are colorful flowers all over it and the writing is extremely professional, “Riza Hawkeye”

Joseph and Riza both begin breathing heavily; six votes were needed to win, five to call for a run-off, what would happen? Heimlich reaches in and draws yet another vote. He unfolds it and holds it up for everyone, “Joseph Zeo”

A tied vote! Eight votes in and still no winner! The jury begins looking at each other, trying to figure out how each voted, wondering if their votes have been counted yet.

Heimlich pulls out the final two votes, he places one on the rim of the bucket, and opens the other. He glances at the vote before holding it up to the crowd, “Riza Hawkeye”

“Five to four,” Heimlich says, “this vote will determine everything.” Even his hands begin to shake as he opens the final ballot. Without looking at it, he thrusts it towards the contests, a gasp is heard, and the entire assembly goes quiet. The contestants are quiet, but the name on that ballot resonates in each one of their heads. The final ballot is cast for…

Riza Hawkeye!

“Congratulations!” Heimlich says finally breaking the silence, “With six of ten votes, Riza Hawkeye you are the first Champion of Sleuth Survivor! You have not only won the contest, but also the respect and admiration of your fellow competitors. Congratulations!”

Riza sits in shock as her fellow contestants congratulate her. The look on her face plainly shows that she never dreamed of making it this far, but the stars were in her favor this time!

Congratulations and thank you to everyone who participated. This was, as I said before, as much fun for me as it was for you. Riza will be receiving a 1 year subscription to Sleuth Noir as promised!

"Joseph," Heimlich says with a smile, "you came this far and no one can doubt that you deserved this just as much as Riza. One more vote would have put it into a run-off. I'm sure if Season 2 happens, you'll be a serious contender for the crown once again. You've been there for every elimination including your own, and without a doubt have proven yourself to be among the strongest players in the game."

Heimlich leans over and hits a CD player, "Shall we give you one more for the road?" he says with a smile.

Congratulations Riza. A very, very good job, winning against Joseph Zeo. It was a tough contest, but you've managed to pull it of. My respect goes to you and Joseph Zeo, for making the finals ^=^.
