Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

Ladies and Gentlemen, the results are in. Every contestant received at least one vote, and all of the judges expressed that they loved all of the submissions and wish that they could all become part of the game. Great job guys.

However, one submission did receive more votes than the other two. The person who has received immunity for this week is...

Joseph Zeo!

Congrats Joseph, as you are the only contestant not on the chopping block this week, and the other two contestants would just cancel each other out, the duty falls to you to cast this week's only vote. Please PM me your vote within 24 hours.

A special thanks to the judges' panel this week, made up of several former contestants, and a very special thank you to Miss Molly Maltese who designed this final challenge.

Ladies and Gentlemen, the erm... vote has been tallied and a decision has been made as to who is going home this week. Joseph Zeo has informed me that this was a difficult decision that was only reached after flipping a coin, but feels that both of the other contestants have made great efforts towards the survivor crown. The person who received the only vote this week, and the person who will be going home is...

Anais Nin.

Anais, you placed 3rd. You made it to the final competition, a feat reached only by your 2 fellow remaining competitors. Throughout this contest, you have without a doubt grown as a detective and now take your place as a member of the jury. Goodbye Anais Nin, you will be missed.

Anais, this one's for you:

WEEK #12 Face the Jury- So it's all come down to this, the final week and the final elimination. Here you will face the judgment your former teammates and competitors.

All former contestants who wish to be, are now part of the jury. The two remaining contestants have 24 hours to say whatever they want to convince you to vote for them.

After 24 hours have passed, the jury will vote. You will VOTE FOR THE CONTESTANT THAT YOU WANT TO WIN. So to reiterate, you are not voting to eliminate somebody, but rather to support somebody.

Votes may be private or public. If you wish to make your support known publicly then you may post it in the thread with as little or as much reasoning as you choose. If you wish to keep your vote secret, then you may PM it to me instead.

Good luck tribe! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

Dear fellow Survivor contestants, first off I must say what a wonderful time this has been. Congratulations to everyone on getting as far as they did, and many thanks to Heim for hosting this contest. Heim, despite the hell you put us through at times, and though many of us have threatened to break your kneecaps, it has really been a blast. :D

I think the goal of this contest has been accomplished: drawing in new players, bringing back old ones, and bringing the whole community together.

As to this last task, I cannot really think of much to say about why you should vote for me over Joseph Zeo. I really think we all put our best efforts into this, and are all equally deserving to win. Even though this is a contest, I refuse to say anything bad about my opponent, as that would be going against what I believe in, and most unlike me because JZ is a good friend.

So here goes….

Although I have not been as good as JZ in winning challenges and immunity during these weekly contests, and don’t have that much computer know-how to do some of the wonderful things JZ did, I can say that I really did try my best. I was there and willing to work for any team I was on, offered my help to anyone who needed it, and kept all the promises I made to you all, and played a fair game.

And lastly, I feel that I have to say this: this contest has allowed me to meet and become friends with so many of you, and that is an experience that will last forever, and which I will always treasure. You are all truly wonderful people! :D

Riza really put it together well. Thanks!

It's true. Although it is a contest where we should be at each other's throat, I think friendships old and new had been formed in the process, our limits had tested to promote growth as a person/player, and hey, I'm surprised Heim still have his kneecaps intact!! (Honestly, Heim, what you did / are doing is amazing. Deep appreciations!)

As to who our fellow contestants should vote, we simply leave this in your hand. I must say first though that during my vote in the New City challenge, when the coin landed in favor to keeping Riza in the running THREE times in a row, I think it was meant to be. Riza was deemed a worthy teammate and opponent, and she really put out 200% on all the challenges she had to face.

That said, I guess I must list the reasons why you may want to choose to vote for Joseph Zeo, here again as I may have said to some of you in PM:
-Integrity, Conscientiousness, Wisdom
-Won the last four challenges in a row
-Helpful to newbies and friends in need
-Well-rounded role player, SM writer, hunter and team player

No matter how you vote though, I think it had been a great journey. I'm glad we all have experienced Survivor: Sleuthville together. Continue to sleuth strong! ;) ~JZ
