Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

Welcome Cherokee tribe to your first elimination. Six contestants were up for a vote off this week. It was close, but one contestant did receive more votes than any other. The contestant who will be leaving this week is... Ms Helen.

Ms Helen, the consensus among those who voted for you is one thing and one thing only: They are afraid of you! They believe that should they face off against you later on, they wouldn't be able to survive. You'll be happy to know that your fellow contestants have nothing but praise for your abilities, but don't think that they can beat you at a later stage.

So everyone please join me in raising a glass to Ms Helen, the contestant too powerful to stay in.

This one's for you:

And Heim I LOVE that song :D

Good luck to the remaining contestants :)

CHALLENGE #8 Déjà Vu All Over Again- So you've demonstrated your prowess at capturing villains. You think you've got it all down to a science? Wrong! You've forgotten about one thing, and that's class! Yeah that's right class! Accomplishments don't mean anything if you don't look good while you're doing it!

That's why this week you're going to show off those bods in our fashion contest! What's that you say? You just did this in another contest? Why... it's like déjà vu!

Your task is to model a complete ensemble that fits your detective while wowing our judges with your fashion sense. After creating your ensemble, you will create a post describing your outfit and why it fits your detective. You will be ranked in five categories of ten points each:

Avatar Appeal- You can't build without a solid foundation. What is the appeal of this contestant's avatar? Who is it? Does it fit this contestant's personality?

Green & Orange?- Create a set that goes together! Ask yourself if the gear fits with the avatar or if it's just some weird old dude wearing fuzzy slippers. Er... *runs to change outfit*

The Gender Bender- Is the gear appropriate to the contestant's gender? If not, is it intimidating/hilarious enough that the detective still looks good in it?

The Wow Factor- This is the feeling that other detectives get when they click on your page. Do other detectives want to dress like you or do they see what they don't want to be.

Plead Your Case- How well did the contestant connect the outfit to the detective? Does the presentation make logical sense?

Two favorite fashionistas will be judging this contest, and will be awarding between 1 and 10 points in each category. Their scores will be added together for a total score out of 100.

The contest will end at 18:00 SST on January 17, 2010.

Good luck tribe! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

Wow! This is a great challenge.
I have an offer, should you be interested....?
If you want to create your own very custom outfit, you may do so over at my site. Meaning that you may upload pictures for the items you want to wear, tell me, so I may release the pictures, make descriptions and name on the items, and send me a PM telling what items you want to wear. (They must be in line with what you wear in Noir, the original)
I will make it look like you are wearing them (until you try putting them in some locker or something, which is not yet supported, so they will then "go away")
I will also see if I can find a way to make everyone able to see what you are wearing without logging in. (Since you can see what an "original" is wearing without logging in).
It's not known at all if the judges will take a look, but you might have fun with it anyway? ;-)

Riza Hawkeye is a woman who is both tough and sexy at the same time. She exudes a sense of danger while still retaining her femininity.

For the avatar, I have chosen Greta Garbo, a famous Noir film actress. She is known for her inscrutability, and also for being a recluse. I believe this mirrors Riza very well. You never know what Riza is thinking. She tends to make decisions and carry out actions on impulse. Also, Riza is never seen with friends around her, as she chooses to distance herself from others to avoid getting hurt.

The Raven was chosen as the hat because it shows Riza's madness- her tendency to say and do odd things at odd times. It also shows her eternal lust and struggle for power and authority.

The Revolver and the Pearl Handled Dirk are weapons that Riza has hidden on her person at all times (see RP stage). They show her untrusting character and her toughness, and portray her as a dangerous weapon not to be messed with.

The Black Mink Coat shows off the tough powerfulness of Riza as a woman who loves luxury, but only as one who can only obtain it rarely in her line of work.

Finally, the shoes are Knee High Stiletto Boots, which are famously referred to in all of her RP adventures. They show that Riza is a no-nonsense person, and that if you mess with her, there will be consequences.

Riza is good at manipulating others to get what she wants, but is fiercely loyal to her few friends and to others with whom she forms close relationships, and will not hesitate to defend them to the end.

I am Riza Hawkeye.
