Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

I'm not putting restrictions on the use of sidekick cases, travel kits, apartments, or agency locker rooms. Use whichever methods you see fit to compete. I'd like it if each team would post which strategy they chose to employ once they have finished, so perhaps Villain Hunters just starting out may learn a bit.

Well how about that? Look who's first? Little ole me!!!!!!!!!

Used the travel kit and finished 5 cases into day 3. Only had 2 quits through the entire hunt and had a decent travel route Shanghai - Delhi - New York - London.

Shanghai and Delhi being the first two cities helped as well to enable me to use my NY apt and London Equipment locker in the home stretch!

Woot Woot and finished :D

I used a travel kit and my one extra sidekick case a day but didn't bother using agency locker etc.

I had a great start and was in my 3rd city by the end of the first day. It all went downhill on day 2 when I had to quit most of my cases in shanghai because of bad evidence and too many clammed suspects. Thankfully I got lucky a couple of times today.

Cheate.............errrrr I mean awesome job Ctown and Aknas :D

Yay! Finally finished!

I was in the third city my first day, and I just needed one clue at the end of yesterday to capture. Hm...should've woken up earlier. :P

Anyhow great job girls (and ctown)! Wow, 5 people so far finishing on Day 3. This is quite amazing! (and I am SURE someone is rigging this!!!)

Joseph, don't feel bad, i'm right with you. I'm still in my 3rd city too. I do have 7 cases left to work today but when you include travel, it's not looking good.

Hmmmm, it's looking suspicious to me that ours is the only team still in city 3. Ctown!!!!!! I'm calling a double cheat on you!
