Do you have what it takes to outlast all others? Do you think you can rise above the rest and stand out as the ultimate contender? Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen to Survivor: Sleuthville!

10 Detectives enter, face off against each other in a different challenge every week, and the last left standing will be crowned Sleuth Noir Survivor! The winner will walk away with a one-year subscription to Sleuth Noir and bragging rights over the entire community. The rules are simple:

1. The first ten Detectives to post an entry will be entered and placed on two teams of five.

2. It's advisable to be subscribed. Some of the challenges may require travel, and if you can't participate, it's likely your team will vote you off at elimination. I won't bar anyone based on this, but it's your call.

3. The losing team at the end of each event will have to vote off one member. To do that each team member will submit a PM to me, which will remain anonymous with the name of the person he or she is voting for, and a short reason why. It can be as simple as-

Name: Heimlich VonVictor
Why: He didn't write any of the poem. It's no wonder we lost!

4. Challenges will be one week long and a winner will be announced at the end, in the event of a tie, a coin will be flipped.

5. Anyone may enter including mods, editors, or even Ben and Sunny themselves if they so choose.

6. The contest will begin when all ten detectives have entered and been placed on teams. It will conclude after nine weeks of elimination challenges.

That's all! Get out there and outwit, outplay, and outlast!

The votes are in! This was a highly contested contest, and the judges seemed to have very strong opinions about their candidates. 4 judges were used, and one tie-breaker was on hand should the vote be split. I will say that at least four judges were needed for this decision, and it not unanimous. In the end, the winner of challenge #1 is The Lenape Tribe! Congratulations, you have earned immunity for your tribe. Comanche, I'll see you at elimination. Please PM me the name of the tribe member you wish to vote off and your reasoning.

Judges comments-

"Both of them are good but over all I'd have to go with the Lenape Tribe's. It sounds more convincing. I like how they put their names down at the bottom for questions."

"Why I didn't really care for the Comanche Tribe proposal...well it's all based upon RPing, and the game is not entirely based on that. They put too much emphasis on it and therefore my shy away people that love to play games but not necessarily write. "

"[The Comanche plan] gives too much subscribed access to people that haven't subscribed before. Remember, if we give them the benefits of subscribing right away, then there is no more want left in the game for them. "

"I feel [Lenape's] proposal will attract more people to the game and get them to subscribe, not just the hard core role players."

"I love the idea of a marketing team. I didn't like the Lenape's video. People find advertising boring and i don't think most people would sit through it."

"The Comanche team's proposal has more variety to it. Lenape's is too simple and won't appeal to that many people."

"Lenape focuses on both new and old players, which is good but it's not what the challenge is about. I have to vote for Comanche on the basis of appeal."

The next challenge and the first contestant to leave will be announced once the votes are tallied!
