Place: Docks
Time: 11:30 p.m.
Weather: Freezing cold

"What the heck am I doing here?", the woman muttered under her breath. She let out a deep sigh, seeing something similar to fog coming out of her lips. It was a very cold night, indeed. The dark-haired, Italian-looking woman looked at her pocket watch.

"Late, as usual", she stated to herself, since she was alone. She had the habit of talking to herself. It helped her put ideas on the right places. And, as a bonus, helped her feel less lonely.

"You know, girl, you should never have agreed to meet him. But yet you did. Why? Because you're stupid."

She shook her head. No. It had nothing to do with stupidity. Or the feelings she had to admit she still had, partially. It was the box. The box with some of her things he still held with him. He had it, she needed it. That sounds like a pretty good reason for an encounter. An encounter, not a date, by the way. Dating time was over.

"You should be resting, Tina", she told herself. She usually gave herself pretty good advice. She never followed it, though. Another look at the watch. It reminded her. It had been a gift from him. She'd better return it. She let out a tired sigh. "I'll be here by ten. Yeah, right. When hell freezes over."

She was considering the idea of leaving when she heard footsteps. HIS footsteps, unmistakeable. She had to fight the temptation to jump on his neck with a tight hug, like before. She simply held out her hand and nodded. She didn't trust herself to speak right at the moment.

[P.S.: I don't have a big plan, and I know it's not perfect, but I'd love if someone joined. I promise I won't forget to check it out. lol]

As the four descended downwars, they heard Valentina murmering her sister's name. "It's all right Val. She has been revenged. Here's your gun" Joseph said and gave the gun to Valentina. Camille was dragging her, together with Vulkie and Joseph was leading the way.

And the four of them saw a small bit of light, shining at the end of the tunnel.

"Finally,a way out" Camille replied and Joseph made sure the exit was secured.

Guess where it ended? That's right,at the little taverna. Seems that it was an old smuggling route for gangsters. The taverna kept the booze for them and the gangsters went out in the night, smuggling the booze towards the mansion.

And a few days later,Valentina was all feeling better and well and so the three friends,Joseph,Vulkie and Valentina departed once more towards New York,as Camille waved them goodbye.

Joseph was taking a smoke on the deck,I stood by his side and Valentina was in a relaxing bedchair thingie (don't know the name).

"Joseph,we finally solved it. Domino's dead. The secret is well kept safe in New York and we don't have any trouble anymore" I said. Just then,Valentina came running towards Joseph, hugging him, which caused Joseph to drop his pack of cigarettes in the ocean.

"VALENTINA,THOSE WERE MY ONLY CIGARETTES FOR THIS WHOLE TRIP" Joseph shouted and began chasing Valentina around the boat. Vulkie sighed, sat in "Valentina's" chair and watched the 2 of them enjoy chasing each other.

As Vulkie thought there wouldn't be anymore trouble, she enjoyed the sun and smiled towards fellow passengers.

And she thought of a quote,of a famous person. "This is the life we've chosen for". Indeed, this was the life the three of them had chosen for.

All seemed well and the three of them soon arrived in New York. Valentina went immediately back towards her home and Joseph and Vulkie went to the liquor store, bought a nice bottle of whiskey, went to Joseph's place and celebrated the good end of this case.

"Joseph,I just wanted to know something" Vulkie asked to Joseph. "What you want to know Vulkie?" Joseph replied, taking a sip from his whiskey.

"I noticed how the two of you,Valentina and you, were getting really close together. Do you have the same feelings you got for Anais, for her..." I asked

Joseph just took a sip from his whiskey, smiled towards me and tapped me on the shoulder.

"That's for another story. For now,it will remain for my own good" Joseph replied.

[If I might add, that is, indeed, for another story. I'm extremely grateful to my dear friends Vulkie and Zeo, and I'm planning on writing something else with both of them as soon as I have a break. Thank you all for reading.]

((Thanks Vulkie, you ended this nicely. For those who don't know who Anais is, read "Golden". She's the sister of Zeo's girlfriend who was killed in that story. There's a thing between Anais and Zeo but it never exactly blossomed. Now Valentina is 'back' into the picture... This will be very interesting, but as Vulkie wrote, that'd be another story.))

((Feel free to mail us if you want to do a story with us , or simply dive in as a story starts. I actually have a vague idea in my head right now...))
